200408684 (1) 玖、發明說明 【發明所屬之技術領域】 本發明係有關環氧樹脂粉體塗料。詳細的說,係電器 零件,例如車輛、船舶或航空機的馬達(引擎的起動馬達 及其他)或發電機線圈的被覆等相關的耐熱性及耐龜裂性 優的環氧樹脂粉體塗料。
【先前技術】 向來,電器零件,例如已知爲固定車輛的起動馬達的 線圈,使用環氧樹脂粉體塗料保護高溫下的線圈。粉體塗 料塗裝於線圈,由加熱浸漬及硬化後,此線圈放入模型中 壓縮成型,將線圈的外形變形後將線圈壓入磁性物的空洞 部而定型。
使用於此種用途的可撓性樹脂係氯乙烯膠漿。又,具 有可撓性的環氧粉體塗料,已知有(1 )環氧基-聚酯混 合物型粉體塗料(日本特開平1 1 - 1 52444號公報),(2 )使用苯酚系硬化劑的環氧樹脂粉體塗料(日本特開照 6 1 - 0 1 2762號公報),(3 )如使用EVA的熱可塑性樹 脂作爲應力緩和劑的環氧樹脂粉體塗料(日本特開平 10 - 130542 號公報)。 但是,上述任一項之粉體塗料,塗膜硬化後之塗裝物 加以壓縮成型時,容易產生塗膜剝落、塗膜龜裂的問題。 【發明內容】 -4- (2) (2)200408684 〔發明之揭示〕 本發明的目的係提供塗膜硬化後之塗裝物經變形亦不 產生膜剝離或龜裂之優耐熱性、耐龜裂性環氧樹脂粉體塗 料。 本發明的的其他目的及利點,由以下說可知。 依本發明,由含環氧樹脂、硬化劑、硬化促進劑及熔 點爲40〜110°C聚醇之環氧樹脂粉體塗料可達成本發明上 述目的及利點。 〔用以實施發之最佳型態〕 本發明所使用的環氧樹脂,分子中至少具有1個環氧 基者即可,可使用向來公知的環氧樹脂。此等環氧樹脂, 可例舉如雙酚A型環氧樹脂、鹵化雙酚a型環氧樹脂、 雙酚F型環氧樹脂、苯酚酚醛淸漆型環氧樹脂、甲酚酚醛 淸漆型環氧樹脂、鹵化苯酚酚醛淸漆型環氧樹脂、雙苯型 環氧樹脂、甲酚型環氧樹脂、四氫苯基乙烷型環氧樹脂、 聚烴型環氧樹脂、脂環式環氧樹脂及三環氧丙基異氨基甲 酸酯等。其中,以使用雙酚A型環氧樹脂、雙酚F型環 氧樹脂及苯酚酚醛淸漆型環氧樹脂爲特別理想。環氧樹脂 可僅單獨使用一種,或二種以上混合使用。 本發明使用的環氧樹脂的環氧當量,理想爲200〜 2,500,更理想爲200〜2,000,軟化點理想爲50〜150 t: ,更理想爲70〜130 °C。環氧當量低於200時,粉體塗料 製造時及貯藏時安定性容易惡化,一方面,超過2,5 00時 (3) (3)200408684 ,粉體塗料的硬化塗膜,難於得到所望的耐蝕性、耐藥品 性等。又,軟化點低於5 0 °C,在貯藏時粉體容易結塊, 一方面,超過1 5 0 °C時,粉體塗料加熱硬化時的熱流動性 差難於得到平滑的塗膜,二種以上環氧樹脂混合使用時, 其中至少有1種使用具50〜150°C的軟化點者,另外的環 氧樹脂可爲具低於5 0 °C軟化點之液狀者。 本發明使用的硬化劑,可例舉如酸酐、胺類、苯酚類 、醯胺類等。其中,以使用酸酐爲理想。酸酐如對苯二甲 酸酐、偏苯三酸、均苯四甲酸、二苯甲酮四羧酸、乙二醇 偏苯三酸酐、雙苯基四羧基酸酐、甘油三偏三酸酐等的芳 香族羧酸酐;壬二酸酐、癸二酸酐、十二碳烷基二酸酐、 十二碳烷基琥珀酸酐、聚壬二酸酐、聚癸二酸酐、聚十二 碳烷基二酸酐、聚廿碳烷基二酸酐等的脂肪羧酸酐;甲基 降冰片烯二酸酐、四氫對苯二甲酸酐、六氫對苯二甲酸酐 、降冰片烯二酸酐、氯橋酸酐、降冰片烯一 1,2 -二酸酐 、5— (2,5 —二羰基四氫呋喃基)-3 —甲基—3 —環己烯 一 1,2 —二羧酸烷基四氫對苯二甲酸酐-馬來酸酐加成物 、氯菌酸等的脂環式羧酸酐。此等的酸酐中以使用聚壬二 酸酐、聚癸二酸酐、聚十二碳烷基二酸酐、聚廿碳烷基二 酸酐等的聚酸聚酐及上述芳香羧酸酐爲理想。 硬化劑的使用量,相對於環氧樹脂的環氧基之硬化劑 以當量比表示爲0.2〜1.2的範圍爲理想,0.3〜0.9的範 圍更爲理想。上述硬化劑可單獨使用1種或2種以上混合 使用。上述硬化劑的使用量少於0.2時,招致塗裝硬化膜 -6- (4) (4)200408684 的接合力下降傾向,又,大於1 .2時,塗裝時環氧化樹脂 粉體塗料的溶融粘度高,又隨著急遽的硬化反應而發泡, 缺乏對被覆物的浸漬性的傾向。 本發明使用的硬化促進劑,可使用向來環氧樹脂使用 的公知者。具體的可列舉如三乙基胺、Ν,Ν -二甲基苄基 胺、2,4,6—三(二甲基氨基甲基)苯酚、Ν,Ν—二甲基苯 胺等的三級胺;2-甲基咪唑、2-苯基咪唑等的咪唑化合 物、咪唑化合物的三嗪鹽、氰基乙基鹽、氰基乙基偏苯三 酸鹽等的各種鹽類;醋酸鋅、醋酸鈉等的金屬化合物;溴 化四銨等的四級胺鹽;醯胺化合物;過氧化物;偶氮化合 物;異氨基甲酸酯化合物;有機磷化合物等。此等之中, 以使用有機磷化合物爲理想。此等硬化促進劑的配合比例 ,以相對於100質量份環樹脂使用〇.1〜5質量份,更理 想爲0 · 5〜3 · 5質量份,最理想爲0 · 5〜2.0質量份。 本發明的環氧樹脂粉體塗料添加之聚醇具40〜11 0°C 的熔點。熔點低於40 °C之聚醇於貯藏中粉體塗料容易結 塊不理想。又聚醇熔點超過1 1 (TC時,粉體於加熱硬化時 的流動性差不能得到平滑的塗膜。具40〜11 0°C熔點的聚 醇與環氧樹脂的相溶性差,僅利用其有利於熱可塑性的性 質。即此聚醇係塗膜硬化後存在於膜中環氧樹脂骨骼的間 隙’外力加至膜時有緩和應力的作用,其結果,成爲提高 膜可撓性的物質。如氯乙烯的熱可塑性塑膠的可塑劑對苯 二甲酸酯系可塑劑或己二酸酯的可塑劑等添加至環氧樹脂 組成物時,其硬化物中之可塑劑容易析出,難於賦予硬化 (5) (5)200408684 物可撓性的目的。又,如EVA的有機橡膠系可撓性賦與 劑依添加量而自硬化物中析出,難於賦予環氧樹脂組成物 之硬化物可撓性的目的。更且,使用苯酣系硬化劑時,環 氧樹脂與酚樹脂結合形成的骨骼本身比苯酚系樹脂更具可 撓性,可撓性的調整有困難。 具熔點40〜ll〇°C之聚醇,例如各自具熔點4〇〜n〇 °C之聚醚聚醇、聚酯聚醇、聚碳酸酯聚醇、丙烯酸酯聚醇 、聚己內酯聚醇、直鏈狀聚醇、及聚矽氧烷聚醇。三羥甲 基丙烷爲具59 °C熔點同樣可使用。具有熔點40〜110 X:之 直鏈狀聚醇可列舉如1,6 —己二醇。此中,以使用各自具 有重量平均分子量爲1,000〜3 0,000之聚醚聚醇及聚酯聚 醇爲理想。更理想爲各自爲具有重量平均分子量爲1,500 〜20,000之聚醚聚醇及聚酯聚醇,特別以使用聚醚聚醇爲 理想。此聚醚聚醇特別以使用具3,000〜10,000重平均子 量之烷基二醇(例如甲二醇、乙二醇、丙二醇或丁二醇) 的均聚物或共聚物爲理想。此均聚物各自具 3,000〜 10, 〇〇〇重量平均分子量,以使用聚乙二醇爲特別理想。聚 丙二醇本身具低於40 °C的熔點不適於單獨使用。聚乙二 醇一聚丙二醇共聚物中之聚丙二醇的含量,理想爲50重 量%以下。 聚醇的使用量,相對於1〇〇質量份環氧樹脂爲1〇〜 60重量%,更理想爲15〜50重量%,特別理想爲20〜40 重量%。 本發明的粉體塗料,依必要可添加無機或有機塡充材 -8- (6) (6) 200408684 料。無機塡充材料如二氧化砂、碳化砂氧院、氮化砍、氮 化硼、碳酸鈣、碳酸鎂、硫酸鋇、硫酸鈣、雲母、滑石、 砂藻土 '氧化鋁、氧化鎂、氧化鉻、氫氧化鋁、氫氧化鎂 、石夕酸纟ξ、砂酸鋁、矽酸鋁鋰、矽酸锆、鈦酸鋇、玻璃纖 維、碳纖維、二硫化鉬、瀝青等。其中,以二氧化矽、碳 酸釣 ' 氧化鋁、氫氧化鋁、矽酸鈣爲理想,以碳酸鈣更爲 理想。此等塡充材料可單獨使用或二種以上混合使用。無 機塡充劑可使用經偶合劑表面處理者。無機塡充劑的使用 量,相對於粉體塗料,理想爲10〜70質量%,更理想爲 15〜55質量%,特別理想爲20〜45質量%。 本發明的粉體塗料,除了上述塡充劑以外,依目的可 適當的添加著色劑、偶合劑、平整劑、滑劑等。著色劑可 列舉如酞、偶氮、順式偶氮、喹吖酮、蒽醌、黃蒽酮、茈 酮、茈、二噁嗪、縮合偶氮、甲亞胺或甲川系的各種有機 色素,氧化鈦、硫酸鉛、氧化鋅、鉻黃、鋅黃、鉻黃、鐵 紅、鈷紫、紺青、群青、碳黑、鉻綠、氧化鉻、鈷綠等的 蕪機顏料。 偶合劑可列舉如3 -環氧丙氧基丙基三甲氧矽烷、3 一環氧丙氧基甲基二甲氧矽烷、2_ (3,4 一環氧環己基) 乙基三甲氧基矽烷、Ν—(2-氨基乙基)3—氨丙基甲基 二甲氧基矽烷、Ν— (2—氨基乙基)3 一氨丙基甲基三甲 氧基砂院、3—氨基丙基三乙氧基矽烷、3 -锍基甲基三甲 氧基矽烷;乙烯基三甲氧基矽烷、Ν—(2 -(乙烯基苄基 氨基)乙基)3-氨基丙基三甲氧基矽烷鹽酸鹽、3—甲基 -9- (7) (7)200408684 丙烯基丙基三甲氧基矽烷、3-氯丙基甲基二甲基矽烷、3 -氯丙基三甲氧基矽烷等的矽烷系偶合劑:異丙基(N -乙基氨基乙基氨基)酞酸酯、異丙基三異硬脂醯鈦酸酯、 鈦二(二辛基焦磷酸酯)羥基醋酸酯、四異丙基二(二辛 基磷酸酯)鈦酸酯、新烷氧基三(p— N-( yS -氨基乙 基)氨基苄基)鈦酸酯等的鈦系偶合劑;四乙醯丙酮絡鉻 、甲基丙烯酸鉻、丙酸鉻、新烷氧基鉻酸酯、新烷氧基三 新癸醯鉻酸酯、新烷氧基三(十二碳烷醯)苯磺醯鉻酸酯 、新烷氧基三(乙撐二氨基乙基)鉻酸酯、新烷氧基三( m-氨基苯基)锆酯、碳酸銨二鉻、四乙醯丙酮絡鋁、甲 基丙烯酸鋁、丙酸鋁等的銷或鋁系偶合劑等。其中,以矽 烷系偶合劑及鈦系偶合劑等爲理想。 整平劑可列舉如丙烯酸乙酯、丙烯酸丁酯、丙烯酸2 一乙烯己酯等由丙烯酸酯所成分子量爲4,000〜1 2,000的 低聚物類,環氧化大豆脂肪酸,環氧松香醇、加水蓖麻油 、鈦系偶合劑等。滑劑可列舉如液蠟、微蠟、聚乙烯蠟等 的烴系滑劑、月桂酸、肉豆蔻酸、棕櫚酸、脂肪酸、甘油 廿碳酸、廿二碳酸等的高級脂肪酸,硬脂醯基醯胺、棕櫚 基醯胺、油醯胺、甲撐基雙硬脂基醯胺、乙撐基雙硬脂醯 基醯胺等的高級脂肪酸醯胺系滑劑,硬化蓖麻油、硬脂酸 丁酯、乙二醇單硬脂酸酯、季戊四醇(單、二、三、或四 )硬脂酸酯等的高級脂肪酸酯系滑劑,十六烷基醇、硬脂 醯基醇、聚乙二醇、聚丙三醇等的醇系滑劑、月桂酸、肉 豆蔻酸、棕櫚酸、脂肪酸、甘油廿碳酸、廿二碳酸、蓖麻 -10- (8) 200408684 油酸、環烷酸等的鎂、鈣、鎘、鋇、鋅、鉛等的金屬鹽之 金屬皂類,巴西棕櫚蠟、小燭樹蠟、密蠟、褐煤蠟等的天 然蠟類。
本發明的環氧樹脂粉體塗料,可由溶融混合法、乾式 混合法或其他的一般方法而製造。例如溶融混合法,係將 環氧樹脂、硬化劑、硬化促進劑、上述聚醇、及依必要添 加的塡充劑、偶合劑、著色劑、整平劑、滑劑等的配合成 分’使用漢氏混合機以乾式混合後,以捏合機、擠壓機等 溶融混合處理,繼之將混物冷卻固化,微粉碎後分級採取 所希望的粒度,作爲本發明的環氧樹脂粉體塗料。此粉體 塗料的粒子的粒徑理想爲5〜2 5 0 // m的範圍。
本發明的粉體塗料,由流動浸漬法、靜電流動法、靜 電噴霧法、階式法等的各種塗裝法塗裝被覆物例如馬達用 線圈的表面。對線圈的塗裝,例如使用流動浸漬法時,線 圈予熱至150°C〜200t爲理想,更理想爲160°C〜190°C ,於流動浸漬槽進行浸漬。其次,線圈更以140 °C〜220 °C加熱1 〇分鐘至1小時,使溶融物完全硬化,硬化膜的 厚度爲20 //m〜10 mm。 【實施方式】 其次以實施例具體說明本發明,本發明不限於實施例 而已。 實施例1 -11 - (9) (9)200408684 50質量份雙酚A型環氧樹脂(「EPIKOTE 104」) ,日本Japan Epoxy Resin株式會社製,環氧當量925 g/ eq,軟化點97°C ) ,7質量份聚廿碳烷二酸酐(羥基當 量 257_5 g/eq) ,15 質量份聚乙二醇(「PEG— 6000S 」,日本三洋化成工業(株)製,平均分子量8,300,熔 點61°C) ,〇·5質量份三苯基磷,35質量份碳酸鈣(平 均粒徑3//m) ,0·1質量矽烷系偶合劑 (「ΚΒΜ— 303 」,日本信Silicone (株)製)及3.5質量鐵紅(「Tora —color - 100ED」,日本戶田工業公司製),以混合機粉 碎,混合後,使用2軸捏合機溶融混合。冷卻所得的混練 物固化後,以1 80 μ m網目篩過得到本發明的環氧樹脂粉 體塗料。 (實驗項目) 以本發明的環氧樹脂粉體塗料塗裝所得的被覆物的性 能評及評價基準如以下所示。 (1 )溫度循環性試驗 於1 90 °C予熱之帶狀銅線,以各實施例及比較例所得 之環氧樹脂粉體塗料,以浸漬法塗裝,更於190°C、15分 鐘的條件下後硬化,浸漬於25 t的冷水中強制冷卻。塗 裝膜的厚度爲800/zm。其後,於外徑180 mm的金屬圓 筒捲5層作爲試驗片。此試驗片於125t急熱保持30分 鐘後,於40 °C急冷保持30分鐘的溫度循環試驗重複24 -12- (10) (10)200408684 小時(24次)’以目視觀察銅線表面的塗裝膜產生龜裂 的狀況,依以下的記號區分之’判斷以◎爲耐溫度循環性 「優秀」,◦爲耐溫度循環性「良好」° ◎ ···完全沒有產生龜裂、剝離者 〇· · ·至10次爲止沒有產生龜裂、剝離,至24 次爲止產生龜裂' 剝離者 △ ···於1 0次以內生龜裂、剝離者 X ···試驗片捲附時產生龜裂、剝離者 (2 )耐曲折性試驗 依據JIS K5600 5— 1爲準,於190°c予熱之試驗板 (1 5 0 X 5 0 X 0.3 mm鋼板),以各實施例及比較例所得 之環氧樹脂粉體塗料,以浸漬法塗裝,更於190 °C、保持 15分鐘後自然冷卻。得到厚度爲200 // m的塗裝膜。使用 JIS K5 600記載的曲折試驗機,變更芯棒的直徑(2 mm、 3mm、4mm、5mm、6mm、8mm、10mm),以塗膜作 爲外側曲折試驗片,記錄塗膜不產生龜裂及剝離之最小芯 棒的直徑。直徑的數字愈具優耐由折性。又,於直徑1 0 mm芯棒時產生龜裂剝離或剝離者爲「1 〇超」。 比較例1 實施例1除了不使用聚乙烯醇以外,其他與實施例1 相同得到粉體塗料後,與實施例1同樣塗裝、硬化,與 實施例同樣試驗之。 -13- (11) (11)200408684 比較例2 貫施例1所使用的15質量份聚乙二醇及〇1質量份 砂k的偶合劑’比較例2以1 5質量份乙烯一醋酸乙烯共 聚物(「Sumitate RB— 11」日本住友化學工業株式會社 製,平均分子量20,000 )及(M質量份鈦系偶合劑(「 KR — 46B」,日本味之素(株)製)取代外,其餘與實 施例1相同得到粉體塗料後,與實施例1同樣塗裝、硬 化,與實施例同樣試驗之。 比較例3 不使用實施例1所使用的聚乙二醇及塡充劑,又實施 例1所使用的硬化劑7質量份聚廿碳烷二酸酐及硬化促 進劑〇·5質量份三苯基磷,以10質量份酚樹脂(羥基當 量219 g / eq,軟化點80°C ) 及硬化促進劑1質量份 咪唑系吖嗪衍生物 (「2 Μ Z — A」,日本四國化成(株 )製)取代外’其餘與實施例1相同得到粉體塗料後,與 實施例1同樣塗裝、硬化,與實施例同樣試驗之。 實施例2〜4 實施例1所使用的50質量份雙酚a型環氧樹脂,實 施例2使用50質量份雙酚F型環氧樹脂 (「EPOTOTO YFD — 20 04」日本東都化(株)製,環氧當量950 g/eq ,軟化點65 °C )取代,實施例3使用50質量份〇 一甲酚 酚醛淸漆樹脂(「Epikron N—690」日本大日本油墨化學 (12) 200408684 (株)製’環氧當量215 g/eq,軟化點取代之, 又’實施例3聚廿碳烷二酸酐的使用量爲3〇質量份以外 ’其餘與實施例1相同得到粉體塗料後,與實施例i同 樣塗裝、硬化,與實施例同樣試驗之。
又’實施例1所使用的1 5質量份聚乙二醇及〇 ·丨質 量份的矽烷系偶合劑,實施例4使用1 3質量份聚乙二醇 一聚丙二醇共聚物(「PE 一 128」,日本三洋化成工業( 株)製,平均分子量 7,000 ,PEG (2〇〇〇) —pPG (3〇〇〇 )—PEG ( 2 000 )之構造,熔點63它)及〇1質量份鈦系 偶合劑(「KR — 46 B」,日本味之素(株)製)取代外 ’其餘與實施例1相同得到粉體塗料後,與實施例1同 樣塗裝、硬化,與實施例同樣試驗之。 實施施5

使用如以上所示,環氧樹脂、硬化劑、硬化促進劑及 具4〇〜1 10°C之聚醇爲必須成分之本發明環氧樹脂粉體塗 料,彎曲硬化後的被覆物品,亦不會產生膜剝離或龜裂, 知道可得到固接性優之固接材料。因此,本發明的粉體塗 料係耐熱性、可同時滿足耐龜裂性·耐溫度循環性•浸漬 性’有利於作爲馬達及發電機的線圈,例如車輛的動馬達 之勵磁線圈等的電器零件的粉體塗料。

Claims (1)
