The technology of obtaining the proposed mixture and the heat insulating material based on it is as follows.
The withdrawn dry starting components are mixed in a mixer, then liquid glass is sprayed in and the mixing is carried out until the mass is homogeneous in moisture. From the resulting mixture, the blocks are molded at a pressure of 0.1-0.5 MPa, dried, foamed at 970-990 ° C and slowly cooled to 50-60 ° C. Further cooling is carried out in air (outside the furnace). Porous granules can be obtained from the pre-granulated mixture.
The heat insulating material obtained is a lightweight porous heat and sound insulating water and heat resistant material of the cellular structure.
