Abstract
FIELD: dressing of mineral resources, particularly sluicing of gold- and platinum-containing sands. SUBSTANCE: sluice box comprises feeder 1, grooves 2 superposed above one another with output regulators 5, trapping coatings of a certain type, and branch pipes 7 for additional water supply. Sieves of screens 4 are set horizontally or at an angle to the movement of the material. The size of holes in the head end of grooves diminishes from the upper groove to the lower one. This enables setting a minimum intensity of streams and promoting the efficiency of grain classification. Feeders 11 under the screen 4 provide for low-frequency pulsations have the form of diaphragms for setting up ascending and descending streams of hydraulic mixture. At the end of the screen 4 there is a threshold 13 while stencils 14 installed on the screen 4 reduce the velocity of material above the screen 4 and provide for optimum hydrodynamic conditions of classification in the stream of water. Feeders 12 installed on end walls of grooves 2 above the screens 4 generate acoustic or ultrasonic pulsations. Source pulp flows through feeder 1 onto upper groove 2. Fine class of particles moves through the sieve of screen 4 onto the underlying groove 2. The retained product is enriched on the trapping coating 3 of the upper groove 2. This process is repeated over again on the underlying grooves 2. EFFECT: higher extraction of small grains of valuable component and intensified classification on screens. 2 cl, 1 dwg
