Методика операции заключается в восстановлении суставной поверхности латеральных отделов бедренной или большеберцовой кости несвободным костно-хрящевым аутотрансплантатом, взятым из головки большеберцовой кости. Фиксация трансплантата осуществляется кетгутовыми, капроновыми швами или конструкциями с эффектом "памяти формы".
