Abstract

La presente divulgacion se refiere a un procedimiento para tratar menas de metales o minerales, en el que la mena de metales o minerales es una mena de sulfuro metalico que contiene sulfuros de arsenico, cobre, oro, platino, plata, niquel, molibdeno, cobalto, zinc, plomo, estano, antimonio o combinaciones de los mismos, con una composicion colectora que incluye un nitrilo graso dimerico. El nitrilo graso dimerico se prepara mediante un procedimiento que incluye hacer reaccionar un acido graso dimerico con amoniaco a una temperatura de entre aproximadamente 200ºC y aproximadamente 400ºC para formar una amida dimerica y retirar agua de la amida dimerica para formar el nitrilo dimerico. La divulgacion tambien se refiere a una composicion colectora que contiene el nitrilo graso dimerico anterior y al menos un compuesto espumante o colector adicional.
