SE REFIERE A UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA PREPARAR R-(-)-SERTACONAZOL MONONITRATO (V) QUE COMPRENDE: a) LA REACCION DE R-(-)-1-(2,4-DICLOROFENIL)-2-(1H-IMIDAZOL-1-IL)-ETANOL CON UN INTERMEDIARIO 3-(L-METIL)-7-CLORO-1-BENZOTIOFENO, EN DONDE L ES UN GRUPO SALIENTE SELECCIONADO DE Cl, Br, p-TOLUENSULFONATO, METANSULFONATO, ENTRE OTROS; EN PRESENCIA DE UN CATALIZADOR DE TRANSFERENCIA DE FASE TAL COMO UNA SAL CUATERNARIA DE N, P, O S; EN UN MEDIO CONSTITUIDO POR UN DISOLVENTE INMISCIBLE EN AGUA Y AGUA, Y EN PRESENCIA DE UNA BASE TAL COMO UN HIDROXIDO, CARBONATO O BICARBONATO DE UN METAL ALCALINO O ALCALINOTERREO; SEGUIDO DE UN TRATAMIENTO CON ACIDO NITRICO Y RECRISTALIZACION DEL SOLIDO FORMADO EN UN DISOLVENTE ADECUADO; b) LA CONVERSION DEL SOLIDO FORMADO EN LA ETAPA ANTERIOR A R-(-)-SERTACONAZOL MONONITRATO POR SECADO A UNA TEMPERATURA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 80 Y 90°C; Y c) PURIFICACION DEL COMPUESTO; OPCIONALMENTE COMPRENDE UNA MICRONIZACION.
