DONDE EL METODO COMPRENDE TRANSPORTAR UNA CAPA DE FANGO A UN TRATAMIENTO, EN SUCESION Y EN OPERACION CONTINUA, POR UNIDADES DE: a) SECADO DONDE LA CAPA DE FANGO SE CALIENTA HASTA 100°C, SIENDO LA HUMEDAD DE DICHA CAPA ELIMINADA MEDIANTE VENTILADOR; b) TOSTACION DONDE LA TEMPERATURA DE LA CAPA SE ELEVA HASTA EL ORDEN DE 350°C A 550°C, SIENDO LA TRANSFERENCIA DE MATERIAL EN LA CAPA IMPULSADA POR VENTILADOR; c) SULFATANTE EMPLEANDO UN REACTIVO TAL COMO ACIDO SULFURICO; Y, d) ELIMINACION DE ACIDO SULFURICO Y ENFRIAMIENTO. EL ESPESOR DE LA CAPA DE FANGO ES DE MENOS DE 35 mm. EN (c) Y (d) LA TEMPERATURA DE LA CAPA SE FIJA DENTRO DEL ORDEN DE 250°C A 350°C. EL FANGO CONTIENE METALES VALIOSOS Y SELENIO. EL DISPOSITIVO ES UN HORNO QUE COMPRENDE: UN BLOQUE DE SECADO, UN BLOQUE DE TOSTACION, UN BLOQUE SULFATANTE Y DE ELIMINACION DE ACIDO SULFURICO, Y UN BLOQUE DE ENFRIAMENTO; POR LO MENOS UN APARATO PARA TRANSPORTAR LA CAPA A TRAVES DE LOS BLOQUES DESDE EL INICIO DEL BLOQUE DE SECADO HASTA EL FINAL DEL DE ENFRIAMIENTO; Y, UN DISPOSITIVO ALIMENTADOR DE FANGO HACIA LA BANDA TRANSPORTADOR MOVIL.
