Claims (50)
- a) 알칼리 금속 수산화물을 포함하는 알칼리성 용액을 셀룰로스 및 알킬 할로게나이드와 약 10℃ 이상의 온도에서 혼합하여, 알칼리 셀룰로스, 물 및 알킬 할로게나이드를 포함하는 제1 반응 혼합물을 형성하는 단계;
b) 제1 반응 혼합물의 온도를 약 50 내지 약 110℃로 조정하여 알킬 할로게나이드의 일부분과 알칼리 셀룰로스와의 반응을 초래하여 알킬 셀룰로스 에테르 및 미반응 알킬 할로게나이드를 포함하는 제2 반응 혼합물을 형성하며, 여기서 제2 반응 혼합물이 약 50 내지 약 110℃ 범위의 온도에 있는 것인 단계;
c) 단계 b)로부터의 제2 반응 혼합물에 알킬렌 옥시드를 첨가하여 제3 반응 혼합물을 형성하는 단계;
d) 제3 반응 혼합물의 온도를 약 80 내지 약 110℃의 범위에 있도록 조정하고 알킬 셀룰로스 에테르의 적어도 일부분을: i) 알킬렌 옥시드의 적어도 일부분, 및 ii) 미반응 알킬 할로게나이드의 적어도 일부분과 반응시켜, 이로써 약 1.40 내지 약 2.10의 메틸 D.S. 값, 및 약 0.05 내지 약 0.4의 히드록시에틸 M.S. 값을 갖는 알킬 히드록시알킬 셀룰로스 에테르를 포함하는 제4 반응 혼합물을 형성하는 단계; 및
e) 제4 반응 혼합물로부터 알킬 히드록시알킬 셀룰로스 에테르를 회수하는 단계
를 포함하는 방법. - 제1항에 있어서, 알칼리 금속 수산화물이 단계 a)에서 셀룰로스의 안히드로글루코스 유닛 당 약 2.92 내지 약 5.00 당량의 양으로 존재하는 것인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 알칼리 금속 수산화물이 수산화나트륨을 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 알킬 할로게나이드가 메틸 클로라이드를 포함하고, 알킬렌 옥시드가 에틸렌 옥시드를 포함하고, 제4 반응 혼합물이 메틸 히드록시에틸 셀룰로스 에테르를 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 제1 반응 혼합물을 단계 b)에서 약 70 내지 약 110℃의 온도로 올려 그 온도에서 0분 초과 내지 60분 범위의 시간 기간 동안 유지시켜 제2 반응 혼합물의 형성을 초래하는 것인 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 제2 반응 혼합물을, 단계 c)에서 알킬렌 옥시드를 첨가하여 제3 반응 혼합물의 형성을 초래하기 전에 약 25 내지 약 80℃의 온도로 조정하는 것인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 제1 반응 혼합물을 단계 b)에서 약 50 내지 약 70℃의 온도로 올려 그 온도에서 0분 초과 내지 60분 범위의 시간 기간 동안 유지시켜 제2 반응 혼합물의 형성을 초래하는 것인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 제1, 제2, 제3 및 제4 반응 혼합물이 각각 희석제를 추가로 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 방법을 슬러리 공정으로서 수행하고 희석제가 헵탄을 포함하는 것인 방법.

- a) 시멘트 및 골재를 포함하는 제1 건조 혼합물을 코팅 물질로 적어도 부분적으로 코팅된 CaCl2 화합물을 포함하는 캡슐과 조합하여 제2 건조 혼합물을 형성하며; 여기서 CaCl2 화합물은 무수 CaCl2, CaCl2ㆍH2O, CaCl2ㆍ2H2O, CaCl2ㆍ4H2O, 및 그의 조합으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 화합물을 포함하고; 캡슐에 대해 평균, 약 70 중량% 이상의 CaCl2 화합물 표면이 코팅 물질에 의해 코팅된 것인 단계;

- 제28항에 있어서, 모르타르 중 시멘트의 수화를 위한 시간 기간이 캡슐을 사용하여 제조되지 않은 동일한 모르타르 중 시멘트의 수화를 위한 시간 기간에 비해 줄어든 것인 방법.
- 제28항에 있어서, 캡슐의 평균 입자 크기가 5 ㎜ 이하인 방법.

- 제45항의 건조 혼합물 조성물을 물과 혼합하는 것을 포함하는 습윤 모르타르의 제조 방법.
