Description
Claims (23)
- 모터 축을 갖는 전기 구동 모터를 구비하고, 밸브의 이동을 구동하도록 상기 모터 축에 연결된 출력 축을 갖는 밸브 액추에이터로서,상기 액추에이터는 상기 액추에이터 출력 축의 제1 폐 루프 제어를 제공하도록 배치되고, 상기 액추에이터 출력 축의 위치를 감지하는 제1 위치 센서 및 상기 모터 축의 위치를 감지하는 제2 감지 위치 센서에 결합되어 상기 모터 축 속도의 결정을 가능케 하는 제어기를 포함하는 제어 시스템을 더 포함하는데, 상기 제어 시스템은 상기 제1 및 제2 센서들로부터의 감지 신호들에 응답하여 그에 따라 모터 속도/위치를 조정하는 밸브 액추에이터.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제1 센서의 감도는 상기 출력 축의 완전 동작 속도의 적어도 2% 이내로 출력 축 속도를 제어할 만큼 높은 밸브 액추에이터.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 제어기는 상기 모터의 기계적 시정수의 5분의 1 이하의 주기로 제1 및/또는 제2 센서를 샘플링하도록 되어 있는 밸브 액추에이터.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 제2 제어 루프는 제2 위치 센서를 이용하고, 상기 모터 속도를 제어하도록 되어 있는 제2 제어 루프를 포함하고, 상기 제2 제어 루프의 요구 속도는 상기 모터와 상기 출력 축 사이의 기계적 결합에서 백래시(backlash)를 나타내는 백래시 값을 참조로 생성되는 밸브 액추에이터.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 4 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 사용시 상기 액추에이터의 또는 상기 액추에이터에 결합된 제어기 또는 프로세서는 역방향의 경우 상기 제1 센서의 이동을 개시하도록 제2 센서의 위치에서 변화량을 참조함으로써 상기 모터를 출력 축에 결합하는 기계적 구동 열(drive train) 내의 백래시를 측정하도록 되어 있는 밸브 액추에이터.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 5 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 출력 축의 말단부에 위치한 스러스트 트랜스듀서(thrust transducer) 등의 트랜스듀서를 포함하고, 상기 출력 축은 상기 트랜스듀서와 상기 액추에이터의 본체 사이의 통신 케이블링의 내부 라우팅을 허용하는 내부 통로를 포함하는 밸브 액추에이터.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 6 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 사용시 상기 액추에이터의 또는 상기 액추에이터에 결합된 제어기 또는 프로세서는 제1 센서의 특정 위치에서의 제2 센서로부터의 출력을 참조함으로써 구동 열 내의 마모를 측정하도록 구성되어 있는 밸브 액추에이터.
- 액추에이터로서 이 액추에이터의 선형적으로 이동하는 출력 축에 적합하게 결합된 전기 모터 구동부를 포함하는 선형 출력 밸브 액추에이터에 있어서,상기 출력 축은 그에 결합된 제1 슬리브의 일반적으로 중앙부를 갖는 스러스트 트랜스듀서에서 종료하고, 상기 제1 슬리브는 작동 대상 밸브에 직 또는 간접적으로 결합가능한 외부 고리(outer annulus)를 가지며, 상기 제1 슬리브는 또한 상기 중앙 부분을 상기 외부 고리에 연결하고, 상기 중앙 부분과 상기 외부 고리 사이에 인가된 힘에 응답하여 굴곡하도록 배치된 두께가 감소된 물질의 웹(web)을 포함하고, 상기 트랜스듀서는 상기 웹상에 장착되고 웹이 굴곡할 때 웹 내의 변형을 감지하도록 배치된 적어도 하나의 변형 게이지(strain gauge)를 포함하여 사용시 작동될 밸브에 상기 출력 축에 의해 인가된 스러스트 표시를 제공하는 선형 출력 밸브 액추에이터.
- 제 8 항에 있어서, 상기 모터 구동부는 기어들의 구동 열을 통해 출력 축에, 랙과 피니언에 결합되고, 상기 랙과 피니언의 랙은 상기 출력 축에 결합되거나 또는 상기 출력 축과 일체로 되는 선형 출력 밸브 액추에이터.
- 제 8 항 또는 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 제1 슬리브는 상기 또는 각각의 변형 게이지로부터 수신된 신호들을 사전 조절하기 위한 전자 부품들을 하우징하고 있는 선형 출력 밸브 액추에이터.
- 제 8 항 내지 제 10 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 또는 각각의 변형 게이지로부터의 신호는 상기 출력 축의 내부를 통과하는 신호 도체를 따라 전달되는 선형 출력 밸브 액추에이터.
- 모터 축을 갖는 전기 구동 모터를 구비하고, 밸브의 이동을 구동하도록 상기 모터 축에 연결된 출력 축을 갖는 밸브 액추에이터로서,상기 액추에이터는 상기 밸브의 폐 루프 제어를 제공하기 위한 제어기를 포함하고, 상기 액추에이터는 비 방해 설정 시퀀스를 갖는 유저 인터페이스와 더불어 하우징 내에 하우징되고, 상기 액추에이터 하우징은 예컨대 자석 같은 간단한 비 방해 비 동력식 장치를 하우징의 외부에 접근시킴으로써 상기 제어 루프에 대한 설정 루틴을 개시하도록 트리거 될 수 있는 스위치를 하우징하고 있는 밸브 액추에이터.
- 제 12 항에 있어서, 안전을 위해 상기 유저 인터페이스는 상기 스위치에 근접한 상태로부터 상기 장치를 제거할 경우 상기 설정 루틴이 정지되도록 구성되는 밸브 액추에이터.
- 전기 모터 구동부 및 기어 구동 열을 구비하고, 도관 내의 유체의 유속을 제어하도록 개구의 가변 상태들 사이에서 제어 밸브를 구동하도록 이동하는 출력 축을 구비하는 밸브 액추에이터로서,상기 액추에이터는 한 위치에서 상기 기어 구동 열의 하나 이상의 기어들을 고정하여 "동력 손실 상태 유지" 특징을 제공하기 위한 고정 래치를 구비하고, 상기 래치는 탄성 바이어싱 수단에 의해 상기 구동 열의 한 기어와 결합을 유지하고, 상기 탄성 바이어싱 수단의 힘에 대항하여 기어들과 결합으로부터 상기 래치를 당기는 솔레노이드 아마추어를 구비한 전기 솔레노이드에 의해 이동되는 밸브 액추에이터.
- 제 14 항에 있어서, 상기 고정 래치는 영구적으로 구동된 제2 휠에서 하나 이상의 방사상 연장 슬롯들과 결합가능한 하나 이상의 축방향 연장 고정 핀들을 구비하는 제1 휠을 구비하고, 상기 제1 및 제2 휠은 평행 면들에서 회전가능하고, 상기 제1 휠의 평면은 상기 솔레노이드가 탈여자되어(deenergized) 슬롯 내로 고정 핀의 진입을 일으킬 때 상기 바이어싱 수단의 작용하에 고정 위치 쪽으로 상기 제2 휠의 평면을 향하여 이동가능한 밸브 액추에이터.
- 제 15 항에 있어서, 상기 제1 휠은 제1 휠의 수동 회전을 허용하는 스플라인 축(splined shaft)과 같은 구동 수단을 더 포함하고, 상기 회전은 제1 휠이 고정 위치에 있을 때 상기 또는 각 고정 핀을 통해 제2 휠에 전달됨으로써 출력 축에 전달되는 밸브 액추에이터.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 16 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 액추에이터는 랙과 피 니언 장치를 포함하고, 상기 랙은 출력 축에 결합되고, 상기 피니언은 모터에 의해 구동되어 사용시 출력 축의 축방향 왕복 운동을 제어하고, 상기 액추에이터는 또한 상기 축의 축선 방위를 유지하고, 상기 랙과 피니언 장치에서 백래시를 완화하도록 피니언/상기 구동 열의 기어링에 의해 작동되는 축의 부분에 가장 가까운 축의 축선 방향 쪽으로 조정가능하게 연장할 수 있는 지지 암 또는 프로프(prop)를 포함하는 밸브 액추에이터.
- 모터 축을 구비한 전기 구동 모터 및 밸브의 이동을 구동하도록 상기 모터 축에 연결된 출력 축을 구비하는 밸브 액추에이터로서,상기 액추에이터는 상기 출력 축의 토크 또는 스러스트를 감지하여 상기 밸브에 인가된 토크 또는 스러스트의 폐 루프 제어를 제공하기 위한 제어기 및 토크 또는 스러스트 센서를 갖는 제어 시스템을 더 구비하고, 메인 전원 고장시 안전 위치로 상기 밸브를 이동시키는 안전 장치 설비를 더 구비하고, 상기 안전 장치 수단은 상기 전기 모터 및 상기 제어 시스템에 전력을 공급하고, 상기 밸브를 토크/스러스트 제어 방식으로 안전 위치로 이동시키도록 구성된 적어도 하나의 슈퍼/울트라 커패시터를 포함하는 밸브 액추에이터.
- 제 18 항에 있어서, 상기 적어도 하나의 슈퍼/울트라 커패시터의 총 커패시턴스는 30F 이상인 밸브 액추에이터.
- 모터 축을 구비한 전기 구동 모터 및 밸브의 이동을 구동하도록 상기 모터 축에 연결된 출력 축을 구비하는 밸브 액추에이터로서,상기 액추에이터는 상기 출력 축의 토크 또는 스러스트를 감지하여 상기 밸브에 인가된 토크 또는 스러스트의 폐 루프 제어를 제공하기 위한 제어기 및 토크 또는 스러스트 센서를 갖는 제어 시스템을 더 구비하고, 상기 제어기 또는 상기 제어기에 동적으로 연결된 다른 프로세서는 실제 스러스트/토크를 주기적으로 기록(log)하고, 이 데이터는 이력 데이터/프로파일들과 비교를 위해 활용가능한 밸브 액추에이터.
- 제 20 항에 있어서, 상기 제어기 또는 프로세서는 전류 및 전압 측정치로 결정된 입력 전력 및 스러스트/토크, 속도 및 가속도로부터 결정된 출력 전력으로부터 유도된 액추에이터의 연속 효율 파라미터를 모니터하는 밸브 액추에이터.
- 제 18 항 또는 제 21 항에 있어서, 안전 장치 에너지 저장이 모니터되는 밸브 액추에이터.
- 첨부 도면의 도면들의 임의의 적합한 조합을 참조하여 지금까지 실질적으로 기술된 밸브 액추에이터.
