Claims (55)
- 입구수단, 틈새수단, 구동수단, 리브수단, 출구수단 및 피더를 포함하여 구성되는, 폴리머 용융물의 점도를 감소시키기 위한 장치에 있어서:상기 입구수단은 용융물이 상기 틈새수단으로 유입되도록 틈새 입구를 형성하며;상기 틈새수단은 처리캐비티 틈새를 형성하기 위해 상호간에 간격을 두고 서로에 대해 상대적으로 움직일 수 있는 제 1 표면과 제 2 표면에 의해 형성되며;상기 구동수단이 서로에 대해 상기 제 1 표면과 제 2 표면을 움직이며;상기 리브수단은 폴리머 용융물이 처리캐비티 틈새를 통과하는 때 그 폴리머 용융물의 전단 스트레인률에 있어 주기적 변화를 가함과 동시에 폴리머 용융물의 국부적인 신축자재의 가감속을 야기시키는 형상으로 상기 제 1 표면과 제 2 표면중 적어도 하나에 부착된 리브들을 포함하며;상기 출구수단은 폴리머 용융물이 상기 틈새로부터 유출되도록 틈새 출구를 형성하며; 그리고,상기 피더는 틈새 입구에 연결되고 폴리머 용융물을 준비하여 상기 입구수단으로 공급하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 틈새에서의 용융물의 피로신축유동과 연결된, 선택된 진동수와 진폭의 전단 진동을 가하기 위해 리브수단과 협동하는 구동수단을 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 용융물을 틈새 출구로부터 수집하기 위해 틈새 출구에 연결된 어큐뮬레이터와, 그 용융물에 인가되는 전단진동의 크기를 변화시키는 수단과, 입구로부터 출구측으로 틈새를 통해 용융물을 연속하여 유동시키기 위한 수단과, 처리중 기포나 캐비테이션의 형성을 방지하도록 처리캐비티틈새를 연속으로 통기시키는 수단과, 처리캐비티내의 용융물의 온도를 감시하여 제어하기 위한 수단과, 그 틈새내의 용융물의 압력을 감시하여 제어하기 위한 수단과, 처리캐비티틈새내의 용융물에 가해진 토크를 감시하여 제어하기 위한 수단을 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 기어펌프 또는 스크류펌프를 통해 서로 연결된 다수의 틈새수단을 추가로 포함하며, 그 다수의 틈새수단이, 직접 또는 기어펌프 및/또는 정적 믹서를 통해 압출기에 연결된 제 1 처리 스테이션과, 틈새 출구로부터 용융물을 수집하기 위해 틈새 출구에 연결된 어큐뮬레이터와, 적어도 하나의 어큐뮬레이터에 연결된 최종 스테이션을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 리브수단은, 리브들, 돌기들 및 홈들중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 용융물을 연속하여 이동시키는 수단은, 용융물의 푸싱수단, 드래깅수단 및 펌핑수단중 적어도 하나를 포함하며, 추가로 틈새의 폭을 조절가능하게 변화시키는 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 틈새가 거의 평평하고, 상기 제 1 표면 및 제 2 표면도 평평한 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 틈새가 환형인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 표면 및 제 2 표면중 적어도 하나가 원통형인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 표면 및 제 2 표면중 적어도 하나가 원추형인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, 처리캐비티틈새의 폭을 변화시키도록 상기 표면들중 적어도 하나를 축방향으로 이동시키기 위한 축방향 구동수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 리브수단이 간격진 리브벽들을 포함하며, 그 리브벽들은, 하나의 리브벽에 의해 용융물에 야기시키는 응력 필드(field)가 인접한 리브벽에 의해 용융물에 야기시키는 응력 필드를 중첩시키도록 피치가 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 12 항에 있어서, 상기 리브벽들은 반경방향, 원주방향 및 나선방향의 어느 한 방향으로 배열되게 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 13 항에 있어서 상기 리브벽들은 연속적인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 13 항에 있어서, 상기 리브벽들은 단속적인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 13 항에 있어서, 상기 리브벽들은 상기 제 1 표면과 제 2 표면중 적어도 하나를 따라 높이가 변하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 13 항에 있어서, 리브벽들은 V형상인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 틈새가 환형이고, 그 반경이 처리캐비티 틈새의 입구와 출구 사이에서 적어도 한번 변화하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 리브수단은 다수의 간격진 돌기들을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 19 항에 있어서, 상기 돌기들은 다각형상인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 19 항에 있어서, 상기 돌기들은 그 돌기들을 지나는 용융물로부터 난류를 제거할 수 있도록 선택된 둥근 윤곽을 지니는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 틈새가, 내부 공간을 형성하도록 서로에 대해 회전가능한 다수의 외부 로터들과, 상기 내부 공간에서 회전가능하고 리브수단을 지니는 내부 로터사이에서 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 틈새가, 외부 도넛형(toroid) 하우징, 내부 로터 및 서로 연결되고 로터에 연결되며 도넛형 하우징내에 회전가능한 일련의 타원형 부재들에 의해 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 틈새가, 서로 펌프에 의해 연결되는 한쌍의 하우징과 각 하우징내에서 회전가능하게 설치되는 각각의 로터사이에서 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 틈새가 환상형이며, 제 1 표면이 로터의 외부 표면이고 제 2 표면이 로터를 수용하는 배럴의 내부 표면인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 25 항에 있어서, 구동수단이, 로터에 연속회전을 가하고, 선택된 진동수와 크기의 전단진동을 가하기 위해 로터에 진동회전을 가하는 이중구동수단인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 26 항에 있어서, 이중구동수단은, 연속 회전과 진동회전의 진동수 및 진폭를 독립하여 조절할 수 있는 차동(differential) 구동수단인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 27 항에 있어서, 그 차동 구동수단은 에피싸이클릭 구동수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 28 항에 있어서, 틈새에 연결된 압출기를 포함하고, 상기 에피싸이클릭 구동수단이 압출기를 구동하기 위해 압출기에 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 구동수단이, 적어도 용융물을 디스엔탱글먼트처리할 정도로 틈새에서 용융물상에 피로신축유동과 연결된 선택된 진동수 및 진폭의 전단진동을 가하기 위해 리브수단과 협동하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 30 항에 있어서, 틈새 출구로부터 용융물을 수집하기 위해 틈새 출구에 연결된 어큐뮬레이터와, 용융물에 디스엔탱글먼트를 유지시키도록 어큐뮬레이터내의 용융물을 움직이는 상태로 유지하기 위한 어큐뮬레이터내의 디스엔탱글먼트 유지 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 평면은 압출기 로터의 외부 표면이고, 제 2 표면은 그 압출기 로터를 수용하는 압출기 배럴의 내부 표면이며, 틈새내의 용융물을 가열 및 냉각시키기 위한 온도제어수단을 추가로 포함하고, 상기 구동수단은 로터를 회전시키는 모터수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 제 1 표면은 밸브게이트 로드(rod)의 외부 표면이고, 제 2 표면은 그 로드를 수용하기 위한 밸브게이트 붓싱의 내부 표면인 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 출구를 지니며, 상기 피더의 적어도 일부를 형성하는 압출기와, 틈새 입구로 압출기 출구로부터 용융물을 피딩하기 위해 압출기 출구와 틈새 입구사이에 연결되는 크로스 헤드 다이(cross head die)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 표면이 로터의 외부 표면이고 리브수단을 지니며, 상기 제 2 표면은 그 로터를 수용하기 위한 배럴의 내부 표면이고, 틈새가 용융물을 압출시키고 디스엔탱글먼트시키기 위해 배럴내의 다수의 스테이션을 통과하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 35 항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 스테이션이 틈새를 따라 용융물을 유동시키기 위해 로터상에 스크류를 포함하며, 적어도 하나의 스테이션이 틈새의 용융물을 가압하기 위한 수단을 포함하고, 적어도 하나의 스테이션이 용융물을 디스엔탱글먼트시키기 위한 리브수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 틈새의 출구로부터 처리된 용융물을 수용하는 것과 틈새 입구로 처리되지 아니한 용융물을 공급하는 것중 적어도 하나를 위해 틈새에 연결된 사출성형기를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 틈새에서 추가적인 점도 저감 처리를 위해 용융물의 적어도 일부를 재순환시키도록 틈새의 하류부분과 상류부분사이에 연결된 재순환수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 틈새를 따라 온도를 제어하기 위한 온도제어수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 39 항에 있어서, 온도제어수단은 용융물의 선택된 탄성을 유지하기 위해 틈새를 따라 온도를 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 39 항에 있어서, 온도제어수단은 틈새를 따른 용융물의 선택된 온도 프로파일을 유지하도록 틈새를 따라 온도를 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 리브수단은 제 1 및 제 2 표면의 적어도 하나를 따르는 리브들의 밀도분포를 지니며, 더 높은 온도는 더 높은 리브 밀도에 상응하는 리브 밀도의 함수로서 온도가 틈새를 따라 변화하도록 제어되는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 25 항에 있어서, 상기 리브들이, 일정한 양의 드래그 유동을 창출하기 위해 표면회전의 축에 대해 특정한 방식으로 배열된 것을 특징으로 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
- 제 43 항에 있어서, 상기 리브들의 배열이 로터의 표면회전의 축에 대해 경사각을 지니는 것을 특징으로 하는 하는 플라스틱의 점도 조절장치.
