Claims (10)
- 水性尿素ホルムアルデヒド樹脂(UF樹脂)結合剤組成物であって、前記UF樹脂と、前記結合剤組成物の全固形分に基づいて、2〜10重量%の少なくとも1つのポリマー変性剤と、を含み、前記ポリマー変性剤が、多段階水性エマルジョンコポリマーであって、2つ以上のポリマー段階を有し、かつ前記多段階エマルジョンコポリマーの前記1つ以上の他のポリマー段階から突き出るかまたは突出する、リン酸基含有ポリマーである1つの突出ポリマー段階を有する、多段階水性エマルジョンコポリマーであり、前記突出ポリマー段階コポリマーが、共重合単位として、a)0.5〜10重量%の1つ以上のリン酸モノマーまたはそれらの塩と、b)0.2〜20重量%の1つ以上のカルボン酸モノマー、イオウ酸モノマー、それらの塩またはそれらの組み合わせと、c)0.1〜30重量%の1つ以上の多エチレン性不飽和モノマーと、d)モノマーの残りの部分として、少なくとも1つの第2のモノエチレン性不飽和モノマーと、を含み、全てのモノマー比率が、前記エマルジョンコポリマーを作製するために使用される前記モノマーの全重量に基づき、前記多段階水性エマルジョンコポリマー全体が、−60〜25℃の測定ガラス転移温度を有するコポリマーを含む、水性尿素ホルムアルデヒド樹脂結合剤組成物。
- 前記結合剤組成物中の全固形分に基づいて、0.1〜5重量%のフェノール樹脂を含む、請求項1に記載の水性尿素ホルムアルデヒド樹脂結合剤組成物。
- 前記多段階エマルジョンコポリマーの前記1つ以上の他のポリマー段階と、前記突出ポリマー段階との重量比が、前記エマルジョンコポリマーの前記それぞれの段階を作製するために使用される前記モノマーの全重量に基づいて、3:1〜50:1の範囲である、請求項1に記載の水性尿素ホルムアルデヒド樹脂結合剤組成物。
- 前記多段階水性エマルジョンコポリマーの前記1つの突出ポリマー段階が、プリフォームまたはシードポリマーを含む、請求項1に記載の水性尿素ホルムアルデヒド樹脂結合剤組成物。
- 前記多段階水性エマルジョンコポリマーの前記1つ以上の他のポリマー段階が、前記1つ以上の他のポリマー段階を作製するために使用される前記モノマーの全重量に基づいて、2重量%未満の任意の1つ以上のリン酸モノマーの共重合生成物である、請求項1に記載の水性尿素ホルムアルデヒド樹脂結合剤組成物。
- 前記多段階水性エマルジョンコポリマーが、共重合単位として、1つ以上のケイ素含有モノマーを更に含む、請求項1に記載の水性尿素ホルムアルデヒド樹脂結合剤組成物。
- 前記多段階水性エマルジョンコポリマーが、第2のモノエチレン性不飽和モノマーの共重合単位として、スチレンまたはアルキル置換スチレンを含む、請求項1に記載の水性尿素ホルムアルデヒド樹脂結合剤組成物。
- 前記多段階水性エマルジョンコポリマーが、−30〜12℃の全体の測定Tgを有する、請求項1に記載の水性尿素ホルムアルデヒド樹脂(UF樹脂)結合剤組成物。
- 請求項1に記載の水性尿素ホルムアルデヒド樹脂(UF樹脂)結合剤組成物の使用方法であって、前記水性尿素ホルムアルデヒド樹脂結合剤組成物を湿式連続ガラス繊維マットに塗布するか、または前記水性尿素ホルムアルデヒド樹脂組成物で前記湿式連続ガラス繊維マットを処理することと、前記水性尿素ホルムアルデヒド樹脂結合剤組成物を加熱して硬化させ、処理済ガラスマットを形成することと、を含む、方法。
- 請求項9に記載の方法によって作製された処理済ガラスマット。
