Claims (12)
- 電気外科手術装置であって、

前記導電性バランスリーブ(430、630)の遠位部分の周囲に同軸に配置された導電性シリンダー(540、640、940)と、
前記導電性シリンダー(540、640、940)の遠位端と隣接して配置された誘電構造(850)であって、前記誘電構造(850)が、前記導電部材(270)の遠位端を被覆するように、前記導電性シリンダー(540、640、940)の遠位端から前記導電部材(270)の遠位端に縦方向に伸長する、誘電構造(850)と、
前記同軸の供給線(226)の遠位端で、前記外側導体(224)の一部分の周りに同軸に配置された細長いハンドル・アセンブリ(820)であって、前記ハンドル・アセンブリ(820)が前記誘電構造(850)の近位に配置される、ハンドル・アセンブリ(820)と、
前記細長いハンドル・アセンブリ(820)の遠位端で配置された複数の誘電層を備えるシェル・アセンブリ(1240、1340、1740、1940)であって、前記シェル・アセンブリ(1240、1340、1740、1940)の一部分が前記導電部材(270)の遠位端を越えて遠位に伸長する、シェル・アセンブリ(1240、1340、1740、1940)と、
を備える、電気外科手術装置。 - 前記同軸の供給線(226)の内側導体(220)の一部分および誘電材料(222)が、前記同軸の供給線(226)の遠位端で前記外側導体(224)を越えて伸長する、請求項1に記載の電気外科手術装置。
- 前記導電部材(270)が前記内側導体(220)に電気的に結合される、請求項1に記載の電気外科手術装置。
- 前記導電性バランスリーブ(430、630)が、
前記バラン絶縁体(320)の近位部分の周囲に同軸に配置された第1部分(431、641)と、
前記第1部分(431、641)の近位に配置された第2部分(432、642)であって、前記第2部分(432、642)が前記外側導体(224)に電気的に結合される、第2部分(432、642)と、
を備える、請求項1に記載の電気外科手術装置。 - 前記導電部材(270)の周囲に少なくとも部分的に配置された冷却チャンバ(1560)をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の電気外科手術装置。
- 前記冷却チャンバ(1560)に冷却液を供給するように構成された流入管(961)と、
前記冷却チャンバ(1560)から前記冷却液を分配するように構成された流出管(962)と、
をさらに備える、請求項5に記載の電気外科手術装置。 - 電気外科手術装置を製造する方法であって、
内側導体(220)、外側導体(224)、およびその間に配置された誘電材料(222)を有する同軸の供給線(226)を設けるステップと、
前記同軸の供給線(226)の遠位端で、前記内側導体(220)の遠位端に細長い導電部材(270)を接合するステップと、
前記外側導体(224)の遠位部分にバラン絶縁体(320)を接合するステップと、
前記バラン絶縁体(320)の近位部分に導電性バランスリーブ(430、630)を接合するステップと、
前記導電性バランスリーブ(430、630)の遠位部分に導電性シリンダー(540、640、940)を接合するステップと、
前記導電性シリンダー(540、640、940)の遠位端と隣接して配置された近位端を有する誘電構造(850)を形成するステップであって、前記誘電構造(850)が、前記導電部材(270)の遠位端を被覆するように、前記導電性シリンダー(540、640、940)の遠位端から前記導電部材(270)の遠位端に縦方向に伸長する、ステップと、
前記同軸の供給線(226)の遠位端で、前記外側導体(224)に細長いハンドル・アセンブリ(820)を接合するステップであって、前記ハンドル・アセンブリ(820)が前記誘電構造(850)の近位に配置される、ステップと、
複数の誘電層を備えるシェル・アセンブリ(1240、1340、1740、1940)を、前記細長いハンドル・アセンブリ(820)の遠位端に接合するステップであって、前記シェル・アセンブリ(1240、1340、1740、1940)の一部分が前記導電部材(270)の遠位端を越えて遠位に伸長する、ステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記誘電構造(850)が、前記導電部材(270)の遠位端を覆うように構成された誘電材料(222)のキャップ(852)を備える、請求項7に記載の電気外科手術装置を製造する方法。
- 前記シェル・アセンブリ(1240、1340、1740、1940)が、内側部分、および前記内側部分の周りに配置された外側部分を備える、請求項7に記載の電気外科手術装置を製造する方法。
- 前記シェル・アセンブリ(1240、1340、1740、1940)の外側部分が導電材料を備え、前記シェル・アセンブリ(1240、1340、1740、1940)の内側部分が前記複数の誘電層を備える、請求項9に記載の電気外科手術装置を製造する方法。
- 前記シェル・アセンブリ(1240、1340、1740、1940)の外側部分が、その中に画定された陥所を有する平表面を備える、請求項9に記載の電気外科手術装置を製造する方法。
- 前記陥所が、前記誘電構造(850)の少なくとも一部分を受入れるように構成される、請求項11に記載の電気外科手術装置を製造する方法。
