Claims (2)
- 治療装置であって、
血管内に嵌まり込むサイズとされた細長いキャリアであって、前記血管を通るように延びるガイドワイヤ用管腔を有する細長いキャリアと、前記キャリアの遠位端の近くに配置されたバルーンであって、前記バルーンの遠位端が前記キャリアの遠位端の近くにおいて前記キャリアに密着され、かつ、前記バルーンの近位端が、前記バルーンを膨張させる流体を受け入れるべく配列される環状流路を画定するバルーンと、一対の電極を有するアーク発生器であって、前記電極は前記バルーン内に前記バルーンと非接触の関係で位置決めされたアーク発生器とを備える血管形成術用カテーテルと、
前記アーク発生器に高電圧パルスを提供するべく構成された電源と
を含み、
前記高電圧パルスは、前記電極間にプラズマアークを生じさせて前記バルーン内に機械的衝撃波をもたらすのに十分であり、
前記機械的衝撃波は、前記流体を通り、かつ、前記バルーンを通るように導かれ、
前記バルーンは、前記機械的衝撃波の形成中に損傷を受けないままであるように配列され、
前記電源は、選択可能なパルス持続時間、選択可能な電圧振幅及び選択可能なパルス繰り返し数の少なくとも1つを有する複数の高電圧パルスを提供する、治療装置。 - 治療装置であって、
血管内に嵌まり込むサイズとされた細長いキャリアであって、前記血管を通るように延びるガイドワイヤ用管腔を有する細長いキャリアと、前記キャリアの遠位端の近くに配置されたバルーンであって、前記バルーンの遠位端が前記キャリアの遠位端の近くにおいて前記キャリアに密着され、かつ、前記バルーンの近位端が、前記バルーンを膨張させる流体を受け入れるべく配列される環状流路を画定するバルーンと、一対の電極を有するアーク発生器であって、前記電極は前記バルーン内に前記バルーンと非接触の関係で位置決めされたアーク発生器とを備える血管形成術用カテーテルと、
前記アーク発生器に高電圧パルスを提供するべく構成された電源と、
前記機械的衝撃波を心臓のR波と同期させるR波検出器と
を含み、
前記高電圧パルスは、前記電極間にプラズマアークを生じさせて前記バルーン内に機械的衝撃波をもたらすのに十分であり、
前記機械的衝撃波は、前記流体を通り、かつ、前記バルーンを通るように導かれ、
前記バルーンは、前記機械的衝撃波の形成中に損傷を受けないままであるように配列される、治療装置。
