Description
150℃の貯蔵弾性率が10 3 Pa以上の樹脂組成物から選ばれる曲げ剛性率が100MPa以下のオレフィン重合体(d)、または該オレフィン重合体(d)と架橋剤、シランカップリング剤、紫外線吸収剤、ヒンダードフェノール系酸化防止剤、ホスファイト系の酸化防止剤、ヒンダードアミン系の光安定剤、光拡散剤、難燃剤および変色防止剤から選ばれる添加剤とで構成されており、
接着・耐熱層(A)と緩衝層(B)の曲げ剛性率の差が少なくとも30MPa以上あり、接着・耐熱層(A)と緩衝層(B)の総厚みが0.25〜1.5mm、接着・耐熱層(A)の厚みが0.2〜1.2mm、緩衝層(B)の厚みが0.05〜0.6mmであって、接着・耐熱層(A)と緩衝層(B)層の厚み比率[A]/[B]が1/3〜20/1である、太陽電池封止材に関する。
(イ)炭素数3〜20のα−オレフィンに基づく重合単位が20モル%以上であること、
(ロ)示差走査熱量計に基づく融解ピークが実質的に観測されないこと、および
(ハ)Mw/Mnが5以下であること。
本発明の封止材における接着・耐熱層(A)は、ガラス、ポリカーボネート、アクリル樹脂のような保護材に良好な接着性を示すと共に、高温で容易に変形しない材料で構成されるものであり、耐熱性を考慮すると、融点(JIS K7121−1987に準拠)75℃以上、150℃の貯蔵弾性率が103Pa以上のオレフィン重合体(a)を用いるのが好ましい。とくに太陽電池モジュール作製における生産性を考慮すると、前者のオレフィン重合体(a)を用いるのが好ましい。接着・耐熱層(A)を構成する材料は0.5mm厚みにおけるHAZEが10%以下のものが好ましい。
緩衝層(B)を構成する材料は、柔軟性、透明性に優れたものが好ましく、曲げ剛性率が100MPa以下のオレフィン重合体(d)が好適である。
(イ)炭素数3〜20のα−オレフィンに基づく重合単位が20モル%以上であること。
(ロ)示差走査熱量計に基づく融解ピークが実質的に観測されないこと。
(ハ)Mw/Mnが5以下であること。
−3.0X+125≧T≧−3.0X+109
を満足する共重合体を例示することができる。上記不飽和カルボン酸エステルとしては、アクリル酸エステル又はメタクリル酸エステルが好ましい。エチレン・不飽和カルボン酸エステル共重合体の具体例として、エチレン・アクリル酸メチル共重合体、エチレン・アクリル酸エチル共重合体、エチレン・メタクリル酸メチル共重合体、エチレン・アクリル酸イソブチル共重合体、エチレン・アクリル酸n−ブチル共重合体のようなエチレン・アクリル酸エステル共重合体又はエチレン・メタクリル酸エステル共重合体を例示することができる。エチレン・不飽和カルボン酸エステル共重合体としてはまた、成形加工性、機械的強度などを考慮すると、190℃、2160g荷重におけるメルトフローレートが0.1〜100g/10分、とくに0.5〜50g/10分のものを使用するのが好ましい。通常のランダム性良好な共重合体に比較して、不飽和カルボン酸エステル単位含有量の割に融点が高い上記共重合体は、例えば高圧ラジカル重合法において、オートクレーブ法で多段重合するかあるいはチューブラー法によって製造することができる。これら製法の一例として、特開昭62−273214号や特許第3423308号の各公報に紹介された方法を挙げることができる。太陽電池モジュールにおける保護材がポリカーボネートやアクリル樹脂である場合、上記のようなエチレン・不飽和カルボン酸エステル共重合体を使用すると、シランカップリング剤を配合しなくても、所望の接着力を得ることができる場合がある。
尚、実施例において用いた原料及び物性評価方法は、以下の通りである。
1 原料
EVA:エチレン・酢酸ビニル共重合体(酢酸ビニル単位含有量25重量%、メルトフローレート(190℃、2160g荷重)2.0g/10分)
EMAA:エチレン・メタクリル酸共重合体(メタクリル酸単位含有量15重量%、メルトフローレート(190℃、2160g荷重)25g/10分)
EMA:エチレン・アクリル酸メチル共重合体(アクリル酸メチル単位含有量30重量%(12.2モル%)、メルトフローレート(190℃、2160g荷重)3.0g/10分、融点(JIS K7121)85℃)
IO:エチレン・メタクリル酸共重合体(メタクリル酸単位含有量15重量%)の亜鉛アイオノマー(中和度:23モル%、メルトフローレート(190℃、2160g荷重)5.0g/10分)
非晶性PP組成物:非晶性プロピレン重合体85重量部と結晶性ポリプロピレン15重量部からなる樹脂組成物(商品名:タフセレンT3512,住友化学工業(株)製)
EPR:エチレン・プロピレン共重合体(商品名:タフマーP0275、三井化学(株)製、メルトフローレート(190℃、2160g荷重)2.5g/10分)
PBR:プロピレン・ブテン共重合体(商品名:タフマーXR110T、三井化学(株)製、メルトフローレート(190℃、2160g荷重)3.2g/10分)
シランカップリング剤:N−β(アミノエチル)-γアミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン(商品名:KBM603、信越化学(株)製)
シランカップリング剤:γ-メタクリロキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン(商品名:KBM503、信越化学(株)製)
有機過酸化物:2,5−ジメチル−2,5−ビス(第3ブチルパーオキシ)ヘキサン(商品名:ルパゾール101、アトフィナ吉富(株)製)
紫外線吸収剤 チヌビンUV1164(チバスペシャリティケミカルズ(株)製)
耐光安定剤 チヌビン622LD(チバスペシャリティケミカルズ(株)製)
サノールLS770(三共(株)製)
酸化防止剤 イルガノクス1010(チバスペシャリティケミカルズ(株)製)
異型押出機(40mm、L/D=26)を用いて、加工温度を110〜180℃の範囲で重合体の融点、流動性に合わせて調整し、表1に示す(A)層は0.4mm厚みシート、(B)層は0.2mm厚みシートを作製し、その物性を測定した。結果を表1に合わせて示す。いずれのシートにも耐候安定剤としてチヌビンUV1164 0.3部、サノールLS770 0.15部、チヌビン622LD 0.15部、イルガノクス1010 0.03部を添加した。
装置:レオロジー社製 DVE−V4 FT−レオスペクトラー
条件:引張モード、シート厚み2mm、周波数10Hz、振幅2μm、正弦波、昇温速度3℃/分、測定温度150℃
3mm厚のガラス2枚の間に、表2に示す試料Noの(A)、(B)層の組み合わせで重ね、真空貼り合わせ機で、150℃×15分(実施例4及び7は180℃×15分)の条件で貼り合わせを行った。得られた積層体のHAZEと全光線透過率を、スガ試験機(株)製ヘーズメーターを用い、JIS K7105に基づき測定した。結果を表2に併せて示す。いずれもHAZEが10%以下あるいは全光線透過率が80%以上と良好な透明性を有していた。
接着強度は、試料No.1の場合、25N/10mm、試料No.2の場合、30N/10mm、試料No.3の場合、4N/10mmであった。
Claims (2)
- 接着・耐熱層(A)と緩衝層(B)が積層されてなり、
接着・耐熱層(A)が、不飽和カルボン酸単位含有量が5〜20重量%のエチレン・(メタ)アクリル酸共重合体、そのアイオノマー、およびプロピレンと1−ブテンとのランダム共重合体から選ばれる融点(JIS K7121に準拠)75℃以上、150℃の貯蔵弾性率が103Pa以上のオレフィン重合体(a)とシランカップリング剤とで、または該オレフィン重合体(a)とシランカップリング剤と、架橋剤、紫外線吸収剤、ヒンダードフェノール系、ホスファイト系の酸化防止剤、ヒンダードアミン系の光安定剤、光拡散剤、難燃剤、変色防止剤から選ばれる添加剤とで構成されており、緩衝層(B)が、酢酸ビニル単位含有量が10〜40重量%のエチレン・酢酸ビニル共重合体、アクリル酸エステル又はメタクリル酸エステルの単位含有量が15〜40重量%のエチレン・アクリル酸エステル共重合体又はエチレン・メタクリル酸エステル共重合体、エチレン又はプロピレンを主成分とし、それらに炭素数2〜10の他のα−オレフィン1種または2種以上を副成分とし、必要に応じてジエンモノマーを共重合させたX線回折法によって測定される結晶化度が0〜40%の非晶性もしくは低結晶性のα−オレフィン共重合体、および下記要件(イ)〜(ハ)を満たすプロピレン単位含有量が80モル%以上の非晶性プロピレン重合体(e)50〜100重量部と他のα−オレフィン単位含有量が10重量%以下の結晶性プロピレン重合体(f)50〜0重量部(両者の合計で100重量部)を含有する、融点(又は軟化点)が75℃以上、150℃の貯蔵弾性率が10 3 Pa以上の樹脂組成物から選ばれる曲げ剛性率が100MPa以下のオレフィン重合体(d)、または該オレフィン重合体(d)と架橋剤、シランカップリング剤、紫外線吸収剤、ヒンダードフェノール系酸化防止剤、ホスファイト系の酸化防止剤、ヒンダードアミン系の光安定剤、光拡散剤、難燃剤および変色防止剤から選ばれる添加剤とで構成されており、
接着・耐熱層(A)と緩衝層(B)の曲げ剛性率の差が少なくとも30MPa以上あり、接着・耐熱層(A)と緩衝層(B)の総厚みが0.25〜1.5mm、接着・耐熱層(A)の厚みが0.2〜1.2mm、緩衝層(B)の厚みが0.05〜0.6mmであって、接着・耐熱層(A)と緩衝層(B)層の厚み比率[A]/[B]が1/3〜20/1である、太陽電池封止材。
(イ)炭素数3〜20のα−オレフィンに基づく重合単位が20モル%以上であること、
(ロ)示差走査熱量計に基づく融解ピークが実質的に観測されないこと、および
(ハ)Mw/Mnが5以下であること。 - 請求項1に記載の太陽電池封止材を、接着・耐熱層(A)側を保護材に、また緩衝層(B)を太陽電池素子に、それぞれ当接するようにして太陽電池素子を封止してなる太陽電池モジュール。
