Abstract
【解決手段】エアロゾル前駆体組成物を保持するように構成されたリザーバを囲む少なくとも1つのハウジングと、アクティブ化し、エアロゾル前駆体組成物の成分を気化させるように制御可能な加熱要素とを含むエアロゾル送達装置100が提供される。エアロゾル送達装置は、リザーバ内に光を放射するように構成された光源と、リザーバ内に保持されたエアロゾル前駆体組成物の量を示す光の反射を検出するように構成された光検出器とを含む。また、エアロゾル送達装置は、光検出器に連結され、反射、ひいてはエアロゾル前駆体組成物の量に基づいてエアロゾル送達装置の少なくとも1つの機能要素の動作を制御するように構成された制御構成要素を含む。

Claims (22)
- エアロゾル送達装置であって、
エアロゾル前駆体組成物を保持するように構成されたリザーバを囲む少なくとも1つのハウジングと、
エアロゾル前駆体組成物の構成要素をアクティブ化して気化させるように制御可能な加熱要素と、
リザーバ内に光を放射するように構成された光源と、
リザーバ内に保持されたエアロゾル前駆体組成物の量を示す光の反射を検出するように構成された光検出器と、
光検出器に連結され、そのように検出された反射に、ひいてはエアロゾル前駆体組成物の量に基づいてエアロゾル送達装置の少なくとも1つの機能要素の動作を制御するように構成された制御構成要素と
を備えるエアロゾル送達装置。 - 光の反射が、少なくとも閾値量のエアロゾル前駆体組成物の有無を示し、
制御構成要素が少なくとも1つの機能要素の動作を制御するように構成されていることが、そのように検出された反射に、ひいては少なくとも閾値量のエアロゾル前駆体組成物の有無に基づいて、少なくとも1つの機能要素の動作を制御するように構成されていることを含む、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。 - 光検出器が、複数の色のそれぞれに対するカラーパスフィルタおよび光検出器を含むカラーセンサであり、光の反射が、複数の色のそれぞれに対する成分を含む、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 制御構成要素が少なくとも1つの機能要素の動作を制御するように構成されていることが、少なくとも1つの機能要素を制御して、エアロゾル送達装置のロック状態を変更するように構成されていることを含む、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 制御構成要素が少なくとも1つの機能要素の動作を制御するように構成されていることが、インジケータを制御して、エアロゾル前駆体組成物の量を示す、ユーザにより知覚可能なフィードバックを提供するように構成されていることを含む、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- エアロゾル前駆体組成物の量を示す光の反射がまた、エアロゾル前駆体組成物の吸収特性を示し、
制御構成要素が、吸収特性と既知の吸収特性との比較に基づいてエアロゾル前駆体組成物の認証を行なって、さらに認証に基づいて少なくとも1つの機能要素の動作を制御するように、さらに構成される、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。 - 制御構成要素がさらに認証に基づいて少なくとも1つの機能要素の動作を制御するように構成されていることが、少なくとも1つの機能要素を制御して、エアロゾル送達装置のロック状態を変更するように構成されていることを含む、請求項6に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- エアロゾル前駆体組成物の量を示す光の反射がまた、エアロゾル前駆体組成物の吸収特性を示し、
制御構成要素が、吸収特性と既知の吸収特性範囲との比較に基づいてエアロゾル前駆体組成物に期日を付けて、さらにエアロゾル前駆体組成物の期日に基づいて少なくとも1つの機能要素の動作を制御するように、さらに構成される、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。 - 制御構成要素が少なくとも1つの機能要素の動作を制御するように構成されていることが、インジケータを制御して、エアロゾル前駆体組成物の期日を示す、ユーザにより知覚可能なフィードバックを提供するように構成されていることを含む、請求項8に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- エアロゾル前駆体組成物がグリセリンおよびニコチンを備える、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル送達装置。
- 制御構成要素を装備された制御本体と連結しているか連結可能なカートリッジであって、制御本体が、エアロゾル送達装置を形成するようにカートリッジと連結しているか連結可能であり、カートリッジが、
エアロゾル前駆体組成物を保持するように構成されたリザーバを囲む少なくとも1つのハウジングと、
エアロゾル前駆体組成物の構成要素をアクティブ化して気化させるように制御可能な加熱要素と、
リザーバ内に光を放射するように構成された光源と、
リザーバ内に保持されたエアロゾル前駆体組成物の量を示す光の反射を検出するように構成された光検出器とを備え、
制御構成要素が、制御本体がカートリッジと連結された際に光検出器に連結され、制御構成要素が、そのように検出された反射に、ひいてはエアロゾル前駆体組成物の量に基づいて、エアロゾル送達装置の少なくとも1つの機能要素の動作を制御するように構成されるカートリッジ。 - 光の反射が、少なくとも閾値量のエアロゾル前駆体組成物の有無を示し、
制御構成要素が少なくとも1つの機能要素の動作を制御するように構成されていることが、反射に、ひいては少なくとも閾値量のエアロゾル前駆体組成物の有無に基づいて、少なくとも1つの機能要素の動作を制御するように構成されていることを含む、請求項11に記載のカートリッジ。 - 光検出器が、複数の色のそれぞれに対するカラーパスフィルタおよび光検出器を含むカラーセンサであり、光の反射が、複数の色のそれぞれに対する成分を含む、請求項11に記載のカートリッジ。
