Abstract

933,317. Powder distributers. C. VAN DER LELY N.V. Oct. 12, 1959 [Nov. 3, 1958], No. 34533/59. Class 6(1). A machine for spreading granular or powdery material comprises centrifugally cutting ejector blades 9 arranged for rotation about a horizontal axis which project material on to deflecting baffles 39, the material being discharged from a hopper to the inner ends of the blades. As shown in Fig. 6 agitaters 16, 17, 18 in the hopper feed material to openings 13, 14 provided with adjustable shutters 23, 24, 38. The top portion 2 of the hopper is removable and the machine is arranged to be attached to tractor lift links. Specifications 933,318, 933,319 and 933,320 are referred to.
