Abstract

A plant receives liquid feed and water through a diffuser of porous material. The diffuser is a tube (1) arranged near the roots of the plant and whose lower end is sealed by a stopper (7) which also serves to locate the tube over a boss (6) on the base (5) of the pot. A reservoir (2) has a long neck (3) which is inserted in the tube. Impressions (4), a selected one of which is perforated, enable the required constant water level in the tube to be obtained. Base (5) of the pot is removable for unpotting.
