Abstract

1533115 Self watering plant pots M L HAGERTY 31 Oct 1975 [8 April 1975] 45129/75 Heading A1E A plant container is divided by a perforated screen 34 into a part 38 for growing medium and a reservoir 36 provided with a filling tube 18. The level of liquid in the reservoir is indicated by a rod 22 having a float 20 and slidable in the tube 18. A wick 16 transmits water to the growing medium, and the roots of a plant may grow through the screen 34 into the water.
