Abstract

1,106,768. Watering plants. F. PETERKEN. 6 May, 1966 [24 May, 1965], No. 21842/65. Heading A1E. A liquid transfer device, e.g. for watering plants comprises a curved transfer passage 1 having air- and water-impervious walls and containing a capillary medium 2 in the form of a particulate fibrous or powdered substance. The capillary medium may be powdered glass. The device may be shaped as shown or alternatively the part 10 may terminate in branch passages extending at right angles to the tube 1 and provided with a number of outlets whereby a number of plant pots can be watered simultaneously.
