Abstract

L'invention concerne l'électrotechnique. Elle a pour objet une électrode bipolaire pour cellule électrolytique qui comprend une anode comprenant une tôle 1 en un métal propre à former une pellicule sur laquelle sont monta de longs éléments 2 en un tel métal portant sur au moins une partie de leur surface un revêtement électrocatalytiquement actif et une cathode comprenant une tôle métallique 6 sur laquelle sont fixés de longs éléments métalliques 7. L'électrode bipolaire de l'invention est préférée pour une cellule électrolytique destinée à l'électrolyse de solutions aqueuses de chlorures de métaux alcalins.
