Abstract

The machine chassis has a hopper on it with roof-shaped centre part. The apex of the roof-shaped part has a plate pivot-mounted on it. Along the bottom of the roof-shaped centre part are outlet holes which can be closed by a slide piece. Driven delivery wheels are pivot-mounted in the trough-shaped hopper. A fan on the front of the machine has a delivery tube running from it into the distributor head detachable fixed onto it. The distributor head contains the distribution chambers which possess nozzle-shaped air inlets leading to the outlet holes. Tubing of various lengths is inserted onto the distributor head in front of the outlet holes. The tubing has outlet connections at the ends, with baffle plates fixed in front of them. One inlet hole in each piece of tubing is positioned near the connecting-points on the distributor head. Each inlet hole has a collar round its outside edge.
