Abstract

1411741 Fertilizer distributor ARCHIE KIDD Ltd 11 Sept 1972 [14 June 1971] 27790/71 Addition to 1177761 Heading AID A machine for distributing fertilizer comprises a hopper 2, a feed chamber 8 and a distributor arrangement 14 with an air driven rotating cowl, mounted on land wheels substantially as described in Specification 1177761 but is modified in that outlet pipes 16 from the distributor 14, instead of leading to coulters, terminate in nozzles 18 and distributing spill plates 22 fixed to a foldable boom 20, which is disposed well above the ground at the front of the machine. The fertilizer is conveyed pneumatically to the distributor 14 by a centrifugal blower driven by the tractor power take off. Reference has been directed by the comptroller to Specification 1176201.
