Claims (10)
1. Förfarande för behandling av en smälta, vid vil-ket ett plasmaflöde (2) med läg temperatur dels ästadkom- 5 mes genom att ett plasmaalstrandemedel fär strömma genom en beige (ljusbäge) och dels tillförs tili den smälta metal-len (3), kännetecknat därav, att plasmaflödet (2) med läg temperatur tillförs in i den smälta metallvoly-men (3) vid den sida, som är vänd mot den övre smälta melo tallytan, med en hastighet av högst ca 1500 m/s i och för omrörning av den smälta metallen (3) och av att man till-för tillsatsmedel, vilka i förväg fätt strömma genom plasmaflödet (2).
2. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, k ä n n e - 15 tecknat därav, att tillsatsmedlen utgöres av kväve-haltiga sädana.
3. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att man som tillsatsmedel använder slaggbildande tillsatsmedel, vilka i förväg finfördelats 20 tili en partikelstorlek av mellan ca 0,1 mm och ca 1 mm.
4. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 3, kännetecknat därav, att det plasmaalstrande medlet - i det fall, när slaggbildande tillsatsmedel används - innehäller syrgas i en mängd av mellan 0 och 100 volymprocent, räknat 25 pä det plasmaalstrande medlets volym.
5. Anordning för genomförande av förfarandet enligt patentkravet 1, vilken anordning innefattar en ovanför smäl-tans (3) Övre yta anordnad s.k. plasmatron (1), som är av-sedd att ästadkomma plasmaflödet (2) med läg temperatur och 30 kan utföra en framät- och bakätgäende rörelse i vertikal- planet, kännetecknad därav, att plasmatronen (1) är försedd med ett munstyeke (5), som är förbundet med plas-matronens (1) mot smältan (3) vända ändyta och vars inlopps-tvärsnittsytarea huvudsakligen är lika med plasmatronens (1) 35 utloppstvärsnittsytarea vid det ställe, där plasmaflödet 22 81 383 (2) med läg temperatur ströxnmar ut, under det att längden av den del av munstycket (5), som skall nedsänkas i smäl-tan (3), varierar mellan ca 0,1 och ca 0,8 - av den smälta metallpelarens höjd.
6. Anordning enligt patentkravet 5, känne- t e c k n a d därav, att plasmatronen (1) är horisontellt förflyttbar.
7. Anordning enligt patentkravet 5 eller 6, k ä n -netecknad därav, att plasmatronen (1) är av s.k. 10 flamtyp.
8. Anordning enligt patentkravet 5 eller 6, k ä n -netecknad därav, att plasmatronen (1) utgörs av en plasmatron med yttre plasmabäge.
9. Anordning enligt nägot av patentkraven 5-8, 15 kännetecknad därav, att munstycket (5) i den zon, där dess utloppstvärsnitt är beläget, är försett med en platta (6) med dels ett centrumhäl (22), som är uppta-get axiellt med munstyckets (5) inre öppning, och dels ver-tikala genomgäende kanaler (23), vilkas antal ökar i rikt- 20 ning frän plattans (21) centrum tili dess periferi (omkrets).
10. Anordning enligt patentkravet 5, kännetecknad därav, att munstycket (5) i den zon, där dess inloppstvärsnitt är beläget, är försett med ett häl (24) för införande av tillsatsmedel. Il
