Definitions

  • the invention relates to a cover cap for a drinking bottle and to a drinking bottle, in particular for infants and small children.
  • the teat can in particular be designed as a feeding teat or as a drinking aid (e.g. feeding spout or drinking spout) in accordance with European standard EN 14350-1.
  • Drinking teats are used to administer milk and other liquid food, particularly to infants and young children. They have a hollow suction nozzle that is connected to a suction flange at its lower end. The suction nozzle is connected at the upper end to a hollow suction part which protrudes from the suction nozzle. The suction part has at least one drinking hole which extends from the outside to the inside of the suction part.
  • the suction flange is used to attach to the mouth of a vessel.
  • the vessel is in particular a drinking bottle (feeding bottle), drinking cup or feeding bag.
  • a fastening ring is used which has a cylindrical jacket with at least one fastening element for fastening to at least one fastening element of the vessel.
  • the fastening elements are an internal thread on the jacket and an external thread on the vessel. Furthermore, the fastening ring has an inwardly protruding, circular disk-shaped annular flange which engages over the suction flange and presses against the front edge of the mouth of the vessel.
  • Feeding teats are usually made entirely of soft, elastic material. Drinking aids and bills are often also made of soft, elastic material. When sucking on the teat, a negative pressure arises in the vessel, which makes it difficult to remove the liquid and can lead to the collapse of a flexible teat. To avoid this, teats have a ventilation valve. The ventilation valve opens when there is a certain negative pressure in the vessel so that the pressure is equalized with the environment.
  • the CH 261 501 A and U.S. 5,419,445 A describe feeding bottles with teat and cover cap, which, in the attached position, sit with the inside of their bottom on the drinking hole in the center of the suction part.
  • the bottom of the cover cap is concave on the inside and the teat part with the central drinking hole rests against this concave curvature in a sealing manner.
  • the EP 0 527 094 describes a feeding bottle with a cap that can be snapped onto a groove on the outside of a screw ring.
  • the cap contains a flexible membrane which is fixedly connected to a sleeve arranged at the bottom of the cap. The membrane deforms elastically and seals the drinking hole of the teat when the cap is snapped onto the screw ring.
  • the cap is complex and difficult to clean.
  • orthodontically shaped teats in which the drinking hole is arranged in a side surface in the head of the teat and is oriented at an acute angle to the teat axis, the membrane adapts to the drinking hole after a certain bulge and seals.
  • the contact pressure of the membrane on the opening edge of the teat is relatively low as a result, so that leaks can occur.
  • the EP 2 299 965 B1 describes a drinking bottle with a drinking hole in a side surface of the teat, a fastening ring for attaching a teat flange to a bottle opening and a cover cap that can be placed on the teat, sealing with the inside of its side wall presses against the drinking hole in the side surface and presses with the inside of its bottom against an opposite side surface of the suction part which is oriented at an acute angle to the central axis of the suction flange. Sealing is made more difficult because the suction part has to be aligned at an acute angle to the central axis.
  • WO2005041851 (A2 ) refers to a baby bottle in which a protective cap is placed on a cap that covers a liquid outlet opening of a teat by pushing the teat slightly downwards in its attached position.
  • FR967458 (A. ) describes another baby drinking bottle with a special drinking cap.
  • the invention is based on the object of creating a teat and a drinking bottle, in particular for infants and small children, which enables simple and secure sealing. Furthermore, the invention is based on the object of creating a cap for a drinking bottle, in particular for infants and small children, which enables simple and secure sealing.
  • the teat according to the disclosure made of a soft elastic material for a drinking bottle, in particular for babies and toddlers a suction flange, a hollow suction nozzle, which protrudes upwards from the suction cup flange and is connected at its lower end to the suction cup flange, a hollow teat part which is connected at its lower end to the upper end of the hollow teat spout and projects upwardly therefrom, a dome-shaped palatal area on a side of the suction part facing the palate, at least one drinking hole in the palatal area, which extends from the outside to the inside of the suction part, characterized in that there is an outwardly curved, raised surface on the outside of the palatal area and the at least one drinking hole is arranged in the raised surface, so that the mouthpiece with the raised surface can be pressed in a sealing manner against an inwardly curved sealing surface on the inside of the bottom of a cover cap for covering the teat.
  • the at least one drinking hole is formed in an outwardly curved, raised surface on the area of the palate of the teat.
  • the cap only slides over the raised surface of the palate area when it is put on, so that only low frictional forces are effective between the cap and the suction part and the at least one drinking hole reliably reaches the intended sealing position on the sealing surface of the cap.
  • by pressing the raised surface of the suction part against the cover cap increased surface pressures and thus better sealing of the drinking hole are achieved.
  • the teat according to the disclosure can thus be sealed more easily and more securely than conventional teats by putting on a cover cap.
  • the suction part has a flat thinning area that completely or partially occupies the palatal region, the suction part having a greater wall thickness outside the thinning area than in the thinning area.
  • the thinning area completely encloses the palatal area, is congruent with the palate area or is completely enclosed by the palate area.
  • the suction part has a greater wall thickness everywhere at the edge of the dilution area than in the dilution area. According to a further embodiment, the suction part has a greater wall thickness everywhere outside the dilution area than in the dilution area. According to a preferred embodiment, the teat has a greater wall thickness everywhere outside the dilution area than in the dilution area. Furthermore, the suction part preferably has the same wall thickness everywhere in the dilution area.
  • the teat When used, the teat lies against the palate with the flat dilution area.
  • the palate has areas that are particularly sensitive to pressure, especially in the area of the papilla incisiva, which is a small elevation at the front end of the palate.
  • the flat thinning area is particularly soft and cuddly, since it covers the palatal area flat. As a result, the child perceives the use of the teat as particularly pleasant.
  • the flat thinning area is therefore located in a palatal region which comes into contact with the front region of the hard palate during use, preferably in a palatal region which comes into contact with the papilla incisiva during use.
  • Further advantageous configurations of the dilution area are shown in FIG WO 2013/131660 A1 described. The corresponding parts of this document are incorporated into the present application.
  • the teat is designed so that it has a preferred rotational position in the mouth. This can be achieved in that the dilution area is only present on one side of the suction part that is in contact with the palate in the preferred rotational position. This enables a
  • the teat according to the disclosure does not have a preferred rotational position in the mouth. This is particularly the case with a teat with a rotationally symmetrical shape.
  • the dilution area is preferably also rotationally symmetrical so that it can come to rest on the palate in any rotational position.
  • the suction part has a bevel on the side opposite the palatal contact area for contact with the tongue. This brings about a preferred rotational position of the teat in the child's mouth and improves the sucking process.
  • the area of the teat that is intended to rest on the tongue is also referred to as the "tongue contact area”.
  • the teat has a waist in the connecting area of the hollow teat part and the hollow teat spout.
  • the waist serves to hold the user's teeth and also improves wearing comfort.
  • the area of the teat against which the user's teeth rest during use is also known as the "tooth area”.
  • the suction part has larger dimensions in each cross section in the direction of a main axis than in the direction of a secondary axis, at least in the palatal area and in the tooth area.
  • the main axis is the axis of the cross section which falls in a central plane of the suction part, on one side of which the palatal contact area is arranged and on the other side of which the tongue contact area is arranged.
  • the minor axis is it is the axis of the cross section that is perpendicular to the main axis. Because of this cross-sectional shape, the suction cup is preferably used in the orientation described.
  • the cross section is oval.
  • the raised surface has a contour in the form of an ellipse, the main axis of which is oriented perpendicular to the central axis of the suction flange. This configuration is particularly advantageous for the simple finding of a secure sealing position.
  • three, six or nine drinking holes are arranged in the raised surface.
  • the versions with three, six or nine drinking holes form different teat sizes that allow different flow rates.
  • the different teat sizes can be selected according to the age or size of the child. Numbers other than the number of drinking holes specified above are also possible.
  • the at least one drinking hole is lasered.
  • the lasered drinking hole is cut into the suction part by means of a laser beam.
  • the drinking hole has a tiny opening when the teat is not sucking, ie when the teat is not under load.
  • the opening width of the opening is so small, however, that the capillary action and the surface tension of the cut surfaces achieve a sufficient tightness of the teat, which prevents unintentional leakage of liquid food.
  • the precise production of a drinking hole with a sufficiently small opening width is possible by means of a laser beam. For the production it is advantageous that the drinking hole can be produced without contact by means of a laser beam, which allows high production speeds.
  • the laser beam can be used to produce any contours of the Allows drinking holes.
  • the drinking hole can be a circular drinking hole or an elongated drinking slot.
  • EP 15 150 663.1 further details of the production and the nature of drinking holes produced by means of a laser beam are given. The relevant statements are included in this application.
  • the thinning area has a circular contour.
  • the application of the circular dilution area on the palate is particularly pleasant.
  • the raised surface is arranged completely in the dilution area. According to a further embodiment, the raised surface is arranged at the upper edge of the dilution area. According to a further embodiment, the upper edge of the raised surface is formed approximately congruently with a section of the upper edge of the thinning area. According to a further embodiment, the raised area covers approximately one third of the thinning area.
  • the ribs achieve an advantageous flexibility of the teat spout, which makes it easier to align the teat spout to the position of the child and to adapt it to the child's mouth. At the same time, the ribs stabilize the teat spout, which prevents the teat from collapsing in the event of a negative pressure in the drinking bottle.
  • the ribs each have an elliptical contour in plan view, the main axes of the ellipses falling in a central plane through the suction part, the suction part on one side of the central plane the palatal area and on the other side of the central plane the Has tongue contact area.
  • the ribs are each gradually flattened at opposite ends towards the central plane through the suction part. This is the middle plane, on one side of which the palatal area and on the opposite side of the Tongue contact area of the mouthpiece is arranged. This further promotes advantageous mobility of the suction part.
  • the teat has a wave-shaped contour in the area of the ribs on the inside.
  • the suction nozzle has an inwardly projecting cone valve which has a slot at its inner end.
  • the cone is slotted at the tip end.
  • This disclosure is preferably a further embodiment of the inventions mentioned above. This also applies to the special embodiments of the above invention specified below.
  • the above disclosure enables a particularly secure and pull-out fixation of the teat at the edge of the mouth of a drinking bottle by means of a fastening ring.
  • the disclosure also relates to a teat family comprising several teats, the teats being designed so that the teat flanges have the same geometries and dimensions, so that optionally teats with different designed drinking holes (teats of different sizes) can be attached to the same drinking bottle.
  • the raised surfaces in all drinking teats of the drinking teat family, have the same arrangement with respect to the teat flange.
  • the raised surfaces of drinking teats of different sizes of the drinking teat family have the same dimensions. This makes it possible to cover drinking teats of different sizes of the drinking teat family with the same cover caps in a sealing manner.
  • the covering cap according to the disclosure enables the securely sealing sealing position of the raised surface on the sealing surface of the covering cap to be found particularly easily and reliably. Correct positioning of the raised surface on the sealing surface is not impaired by frictional contact between the suction part and the apex area.
  • the inwardly arched apex area and the inwardly arched sealing surface are each arched into the cap base.
  • the cap base has a first indentation from above, which in turn has a second indentation from below, the second indentation on the inside comprising the inwardly curved apex area and the inwardly arched sealing surface surrounding the apex area.
  • the holding element is a latching projection on the inside of the cap side wall.
  • the at least one locking projection enables the cover cap to be locked in the sealing position on the fastening ring.
  • the teat is inserted into a fastening ring with at least one fastening element for releasable holding on the edge of the mouth of a drinking bottle.
  • the fastening ring has a latching groove on the upper edge for snapping in latching projections on a cover cap.
  • the fastening ring has a circumferential internal thread on the inside for screwing onto an external thread on the outside of the mouth of a drinking bottle.
  • the fastening ring has a circumferential groove around a central through hole for the teat spout of the teat on the underside into which the upwardly protruding leg of the T-bar of the teat flange is inserted.
  • the drinking teat has a circumferential, recessed area between the hollow teat spout and the teat flange.
  • the retracted area enables the teat to be pre-assembled on the fastening ring.
  • the pre-assembled combination can be attached particularly easily and securely to the edge of the mouth of a drinking bottle.
  • the drawn-in area is delimited at the top by an approximately horizontal lower nozzle edge of the hollow suction nozzle. This allows the suction nozzle to be brought into close contact with the upper edge of a fastening ring.
