Description

The invention relates to a mill for grinding cereals according to the preamble of claim 1. For grinding millbase, in particular cereals for the production of flour, various types of mill are known. In addition to traditional stone mills and mills are used in which the grinding is done by means of a knife set, which rotates in a grinder and crushed the ground material directly or by hitting a baffle plate. Such a mill is in German utility model DE 20 2004 005 117 described.

From the document US Pat. No. 3,090,568 a mill for grinding regrind is known, in which the millbase is fed via a Mahlgutzuführung a grinder and is discharged ground via an outlet. In the grinder, a rotating knife set is arranged, which has a plurality of blades which are driven by a motor. The knives have circumferential teeth which are provided with inserts.

The object of the invention is to further increase the efficiency of a mill for grinding cereals. This means that the grinding capacity should be increased in order to increase the volume flow through the mill with as little as possible increased power consumption and thus to further improve the effectiveness of the machine. In this case, a sufficient Mahlgüte is a prerequisite.

This object is solved by the features of claim 1. Advantageously, the blades are formed like a disk and the inserts are arranged on the teeth of the knife so that their surface is at right angles to the disk plane.

Also, a slight inclination of the inserts relative to this plane is advantageously possible. The cutting plates are advantageously arranged inclined relative to the radius of the disc and tilted with the upper edge in the direction of rotation to the front. Advantageously, the cutting plates, as already explained, made of a material that allows grinding same or a regrinding. For this purpose, Vidiaplatten have proven.

Another proven design is that the inserts are about twice as wide as the discs of the knives are strong. Depending on the material to be ground, the high grinding performance of such knives can easily lead to blockage of the knife set. This is avoided with the stated dimensioning, as is created by the blade wheels, which have a lower thickness, so to speak radially within the inserts space in which the ground millbase can move and thus blocking the knife is largely prevented. A strength of the knives of about 2mm and an insert width of about 4mm has proven to be useful. Likewise, an arrangement with twelve to fourteen knives in the grinding chamber has proven itself. The blades are advantageously mounted directly on the drive shaft and rotatably connected thereto, for example via a keyway connection. A displacement of the knife so that the teeth of the knife is not aligned is not required. Rather, an excellent grinding performance has been shown in aligned mounting on the drive shaft. Due to the fact that the knives are made narrower than the inserts, the knives must be mounted with a certain distance on the drive shaft. For this purpose, spacers have proven that 4 or 5mm are strong in the specific embodiment.

The assembly of the motor has proven itself directly on the housing of the grinder. As a result, vibrations are suppressed and created overall a stiffer construction, which is less likely to vibrate, even if the grinding is stimulated by the system to vibrate. Although here typically used electric motors have a shaft seal, it has been shown that the realized in this way sealing of the shaft is not sufficient, especially with regrind, the fine dust is created. Advantageously, the shaft of the drive motor is therefore sealed by a further special shaft seal with respect to the interior of the grinder. This additional shaft seal can be arranged by means of an additional flange which can be fastened to the engine. Advantageously, an additional flange is bolted to the motor housing, which receives the said further shaft seal.

Advantageously, the engine is provided with a motor control, which allows a slow start-up of the engine to the target speed. The usual in electric motors rapid startup of the engine leads, especially in conjunction with the described powerful blade set to a strong mechanical stress on the mill, especially the grinder, by the Occurrence of unwanted vibrations. This can be avoided by slowly starting the engine.

The material to be ground is advantageously fed from above via a hopper to the grinder. In this funnel magnets can be provided, which have the task to retain any metallic objects located in the material to be ground so as to avoid damage to the set of knives.

Advantageously, the outlet for the ground regrind is provided on the underside of the grinder. If the outlet is arranged at the lowest point of the interior of the grinder, the discharge of the ground material is reliably made possible.

The grinder can further be provided with a connection for introducing a fluid, preferably air, which can be blown into the grinder in order to achieve a superposition of the flow of the ground material with a second fluid flow, which is advantageous in particular for very dense material to be ground on the grinding result effect. The connection for introducing this fluid may be provided laterally above the blade set, so that the flow impinges on the ground material flow at approximately right angles.

Conveniently, the grinder is provided with a lockable flap, which allows to inspect the interior of the grinder and, where appropriate, to eliminate occurring blockages. Advantageously, this flap is arranged in the vicinity of the knife set.

Out Fig. 1 is good to see the actual grinder housing 1 on which the drive motor 2 is flanged. Above the grinder housing 1 is the controlled Mahlguteinlass 5, which is arranged on top of the grinder housing 1 and is fed by a grinding mill hopper 4 with ground material. In the regulated Mahlguteinlass 5 is a control device by means of the fluid flow of ground material in the grinder housing 1 is adjustable. Below the Mahlguteinlasses 5, the side of the grinder housing 1, a fluid inlet 7 is provided by means of which a fluid, such as air, can be blown into the grinder housing.

The Mahlgutauslass 6 is located at the bottom of the grinder housing 1 at the lowest point of the interior of the grinder and leads via a pipeline to a collecting container, not shown, in which the ground millbase is collected.

In the illustration according to Fig. 2 the mill is shown with open grinder. For this purpose, the shown wall of the grinder housing 1 opened by means of a flap 8, so that the blade set 9 is visible. The flap 8 is pivotally mounted on a bolt 10 and locked on a non-explained control mechanism on the grinder housing 1. In the Fig. 2 not visible shaft of the drive motor 2 protrudes into the interior of the grinder and is there directly connected to the blades 11 of the blade set 9.

In Fig. 3 a knife 11 of the mill according to the invention is shown. This knife 11 has a disk-like shape with four large recesses and is provided in the central region with further recesses 14 which allow a rotationally fixed mounting on the shaft of the drive motor 2. At the outer periphery of the knife 11 is provided with teeth 13. The flanks protruding in the direction of rotation are provided with cutting plates 15. The teeth 13 and also the cutting plates 15 are slightly inclined relative to the radius of the blade 11 in the direction of rotation to the front. The disc-like base body of the blade 11 has a thickness of 2 mm, whereas the cutting plates 15 has a width in the axial direction of the blade 11 and in the direction of the drive shaft of the drive motor 2 of 4 mm. The cutting plates 15 are made of a grindable or regrindable steel, so that a high sharpness of the blade 11 can be ensured.

Hierzu werden Distanzscheiben 16 eingesetzt, die wie gut ausThe knives 11 are mounted as a knife set 9 in the concrete embodiment consisting of twelve knives 11 in the interior of the grinder. In this case, the disk-like blades 11 are mounted at a predetermined distance on the shaft of the drive motor 2. For this purpose, spacers 16 are used, which looks like good

Fig. 4 can be seen to ensure the desired distance between the blades 11. In Fig. 4 the blades 11 are shown simplified as discs. The cutting plates 15 are not shown. Since twelve knives 11 are used, eleven shims 16 must be used. In the specific embodiment, three outer spacers 16a of the knife set 9 each have a thickness of 5 mm, wherein the five spacers 16b used in the central region of the knife set 9 have a thickness of 4 mm. Furthermore, at the end, ie right or left of the outermost knife, also a 4mm thick lens 16c mounted. Such an arrangement and variation of the knife distance has been proven and led to very good Mahlergebnissen.

Fig. 5 zeigt den Antriebsmotor 2 mit zusätzlicher Wellendichtung 17. Fig. 5 shows the drive motor 2 with additional shaft seal 17. The additional shaft seal 17 is mounted by means of an additional flange 18 which is arranged on a collar 19 of the housing of the drive motor 2. In the concrete embodiment, the additional flange 18 is screwed to the collar 19.

Fig. 6 shows the grinding hopper 4 in the inner region of the transition into the Mahlguteinlass 5 rod-shaped magnets 20 are mounted, which are mounted by means of a carrier 21 and screws 22 in the interior of the grinding hopper 4. By means of these magnets 20 metallic objects, which could lead to damage of the blade 11, kept away from the grinder. To remove the metallic objects picked up by the magnets 20, the carrier 21 with all the magnets 20 can be completely removed after loosening the screws 22. Thus, metallic objects can be picked up by the magnets 20 in a simple manner.
