Abstract

Bei einem Fahrzeugheizgerät wird Wasser als Wärmeträger durch einen die Brennkammer (B) umgebenden Wärmetauscher (2) gepumpt. Die Wasserpumpe (6) ist oberhalb des Wärmetauschers (2) angeordnet und pumpt das ihr axial zugeführte Wasser über einen tangentialen Pumpenaustrittsstutzen (12) in den Wärmetauscher (2). Zur Entlüftung ist im oberen Bereich des Pumpenteils (10) der Wasserpumpe eine Verbindungsöffnung (34, 36) geringen Querschnitts vorgesehen, die zu der System-Vorlaufleitung (30) führt. Etwaige Luftbläschen (L), die sich in der Pumpenkammer (38) des Pumpenteils (10) ansammeln, gelangen durch die Verbindungsöffnung in die Vorlaufleitung (70), und zwar entweder durch den Auftrieb der Luftbläschen und die geometrischen Verhältnisse von Pumpenkammer und Rücklaufleitung einschließlich Verbindungsöffnung, und/oder zusätzlich durch das Druckgefälle zwischen der Pumpenkammer und der Rücklaufleitung.
