Claims (15)

1. Fluorescerende silica-baseret nanopartikel omfattende: - en silica-baseret kerne omfattende en fluorescerende forbindelse positioneret i den silica-baserede kerne; - en silica-skal, der omgiver mindst en del af kernen; - en organisk polymer forbundet til nanopartiklen; og - et ligandmolekyle forbundet til nanopartiklen; hvor fra 1 til 20 ligandmolekyler er forbundet til nanopartiklen, og hvor ligandmolekylet er et lineært, cyklisk eller forgrenet peptid indeholdende Arg-Gly-Asp (RGD).
