SE PONEN A DISPOSICIÓN PLANTAS DE MIJO DE SORGO QUE ESTÁN EN CONDICIONES DE INDUCIR HAPLOIDÍA POR MODIFICACIONES EN EL GENOMA, QUE SE REFIEREN A UNA FOSFOLIPASA DE PATATINA EXPRESADA ESPECÍFICA DE POLEN, CON LO CUAL SE PUEDEN GENERAR DESCENDIENTES HAPLOIDES Y EN CORTO TIEMPO SE PUEDEN PRODUCIR POR DUPLICACIÓN DE CROMOSOMAS LÍNEAS ENDOGÁMICAS, ES DECIR, LÍNEAS PATERNAS Y MATERNAS HOMOCIGÓTICAS, PARA LA REPRODUCCIÓN DE HÍBRIDOS. ADICIONALMENTE, SE PONEN A DISPOSICIÓN PROCEDIMIENTOS PARA LA GENERACIÓN DE INDUCTORES DE HAPLOIDES VEGETALES TRANSGÉNICOS Y NO TRANSGÉNICOS Y LA MEJORA DE LA POTENCIA DE INDUCCIÓN DE LAS PLANTAS.
