Abstract

"PROCESSO DE TRATAMENTO DE TABACO PARA REDUZIR O TEOR DE NITROSAMINA, E PRODUTOS PRODUZIDOS POR MEIO DESTE". Na presente invenção são descritos processos de redução do teor e prevenção da formação de nitrosaminas carciogênicas em plantas com folhas grandes colhidas, tais como,tabaco e maconha. Os processos são direcionados para sujeitar a planta à radiação de freq³ência em microondas ou mais altas, em tempos apropriados de ciclo de cura. Com tabaco, produtos adequados para consumo humano, tais como cigarros, charutos etc, podem ser produzidos,de acordo com a presente invenção, possuindo teores de nitrosaminas específicas,do tabaco em um par com tabaco verde recém-cortado. Em modalidades preferidas, os produtos de tabaco resultantes são secados, as folhas amarelo-douradas possuindo quase quantidades insignificantes de conhecidos carcinógenos NNN e NNK quando comparado com o tabaco convencionalmente curado.
