Abstract
"MéTODO PARA A PRODUçãO DE UM BRIQUETE DE MINéRIO DE FERRO". Um método de produção de um briquete de minério de ferro que é adequado para uso como uma matéria-prima de alto-forno ou de outro forno de redução direta que inclui as etapas de: (1) misturar: (i) minério possuindo uma distribuição de tamanho de partícula predeterminada com um tamanho superior de 4,0 mm ou menos; e (ii) um fundente; para formar uma mistura de minério/fundente; (2) ajustar o conteúdo de água do minério antes ou durante a etapa de misturação (a) para otimizar a qualidade do briquete e o rendimento do produto; (3) prensar a mistura de minério e fundente em um briquete verde; e (4) endurecer o briquete verde para formar um briquete queimado.
