Abstract
La presente descripcion provee novedosas secuencias proteicas y de ácido nucleico de beta-alanina/alfa cetoglutarato aminotransferasa que tienen mayor actividad biologica. También se proporcionan células que contienen dichas enzimas, así como también métodos para su utilizacion, por ejemplo para producir malonil-semialdehído y subproductos, tales como ácido 3-hidroxipropionico y sus derivados.
