Abstract
La presente solicitud se refiere a células hospederas genéticamente modificadas que exhiben niveles de actividad modificada de uno o más productos de gen, de manera que cuando una enzima P450 del citocromo es producida en células hospederas genéticamente modificadas, los niveles de actividad modificadas de uno o más productos de gen proporcionan produccion mejorada y/o actividad de la enzima P450 del citocromo. La presente solicitud proporciona métodos para producir una enzima P450 del citocromo en una célula hospedera, en general, que involucra cultivar una célula hospedera genéticamente modificada sujeto en un medio de cultivo adecuado. La presente solicitud además proporciona métodos para producir un producto de una oxidacion dependiente de P450, en general, que involucra cultivar una célula hospedera genéticamente modificada sujeto, en un medio de cultivo adecuado. Reivindicacion 1: Una célula hospedera genéticamente modificada, caracterizada porque dicha célula hospedera genéticamente modificada comprende un ácido nucleico que comprende una secuencia de nucleotido que codifica un producto de gen relacionado con el estrés oxidativo, en donde la produccion del producto de gen relacionado con el estrés oxidativo proporciona produccion incrementada de un isoprenoide o precursor isoprenoide por la célula hospedera genéticamente modificada, comparada con una célula hospedera de control no modificada genéticamente con el ácido nucleico.
