Abstract

Agentes para la prevencion o el tratamiento de diabetes, que están asociados con menor cantidad de efectos colaterales tales como aumento de peso corporal, acumulacion de adipocitos, hipertrofia cardíaca y similares. Composiciones farmacéuticas que los contienen y su uso en la preparacion de un medicamento para el tratamiento de la diabetes. Reivindicacion 1. Un agente para la prevencion o el tratamiento de diabetes, caracterizado porque comprende un compuesto representado por la formula (1) en donde el anillo A es un anillo aromático que está además opcionalmente sustituido; Ar es un anillo monocíclico opcionalmente sustituido; R1 es un grupo hidrocarbonado opcionalmente sustituido o es un grupo heterocíclico opcionalmente sustituido; R2 es un átomo de H, un grupo hidrocarbonado opcionalmente sustituido o es un grupo heterocíclico opcionalmente sustituido; X es un espaciador que tiene una cadena principal de 1 o 2 átomos; Y es un enlace o un espaciador con una cadena principal de 1 o 2 átomos; W es un grupo hidrocarbonado divalente opcionalmente sustituido con 1 a 20 átomos de C; Z es -CONRaSO2-, -SO2NRaCO-, -SO2NRaCOO-, -NRaSO2-, -OCONRaSO2-, - OCONRaSO2NRc-, -OCONRc-, -NRaCONRbSO2-, -NRaSO2NRbCOO- o -CONRaSO2NRc- (Ra y Rb son cada uno, de manera independiente, un átomo de H, un grupo hidrocarbonado opcionalmente sustituido o un grupo protector amino, Rc es un átomo de H, un grupo hidrocarbonado opcionalmente sustituido o un grupo protector amino, o Rc y R2 están unidos entre sí para formar, junto con el átomo de N adyacente, un heterociclo opcionalmente sustituido con contenido de N), o una de sus sales o uno de sus profármacos.
