Abstract
Se describen procedimientos y materiales para preparar quinapril, sus sales farmacéuticamente aceptables, incluyendo clorhidrato de quinapril. El procedimiento incluye hacer reaccionar el éster etílico del ácido (2S,4S)-2-(4-metil-2,5-dioxo-oxazolidin-3-il)-4-fenilbutírico con el éster terc-butílico del ácido (3S)-1,2,3,4-tetrahidro-isoquinolin-3-carboxílico para dar el éster terc-butílico de quinapril, el cual se hace reaccionar posteriormente con un ácido para dar quinapril o una sal de adición de ácido de quinapril.
