Abstract

La invencion se refiere a un dispositivo para la liberacion controlada durante un período de tiempo prolongado, de un fármaco que tiene propiedadesantiprogestínicas, comprendiendo dicho dispositivo, un nucleo que comprende dicho fármaco, opcionalment e una membrana que encierra dicho nucleo, en el quedicho nucleo y/o membrana están hechos de una composicion elastomero basado en siloxano que comprende al menos un elastomero y posiblemente un polímero noentrecruzado. El dispositivo está caracteriza do porque la composicion de elastomero comprende grupos poli(oxido de alquileno) y porque los grupos poli(oxido dealquileno) están presentes en el elastomero o polímero como injertos terminados con alcoxi de unidades de polisiloxano, o como bloques, estando unidos dichosinjertos o bloques a las unidades de polisiloxano por enlaces silicio-carbono o como mezcla de estas formas.
