SE REFIERE A UNA MEMBRANA O MATRIZ DESTINADA A CONTROLAR LA PENETRACION DE FARMACOS HECHA DE UN ELASTOMERO BASADO EN SILOXANO. EL ELASTOMERO PUEDE COMPRENDER: i) APROXIMADAMENTE DE 1% A 50% DE GRUPOS 3,3,3-TRIFLUOROPROPILO UNIDOS A LOS ATOMOS DE SILICE DE LAS UNIDADES DE SILOXANO; o ii) UNA MEZCLA DE: a) UN POLIMERO BASADO EN SILOXANO NO SUSTITUIDO CON FLUOR, TAL COMO UN POLI(DIMETILSILOXANO); Y, b) UN POLIMERO, BASADO EN SILOXANO SUSTITUIDO CON FLUOR, TAL COMO UN POLI(DIMETILSILOXANO), DONDE APROXIMADAMENTE 50% DE LOS GRUPOS METILO UNIDOS AL ATOMO DE SILICE DE LAS UNIDADES DE SILOXANO SE HAN SUSTITUIDO CON GRUPOS 3,3,3-TRIFLUOROPROPILO; o iii) UN UNICO POLIMERO BASADO EN SILOXANO RETICULADO, TAL COMO UN POLI(DIALQUIL-SILOXANO) DONDE UNA CIERTA CANTIDAD DE GRUPOS ALQUILO EN LOS ATOMOS DE SILICE ESTAN SUSTITUIDOS CON GRUPOS 3,3,3-TRIFLUOROPROPILO. SE REFIERE TAMBIEN A UN METODO PARA LA PREPARACION DEL ELASTOMERO, QUE CONSISTE EN: I) RETICULAR EN PRESENCIA DE UN CATALIZADOR UN COMPONENTE DE POLISILOXANO CON FUNCIONALIDAD DE VINILO SUSTITUIDO CON 3,3,3-TRIFLUOROPROPILO Y UN AGENTE RETICULANTE CON FUNCIONALIDAD DE HIDRURO DE SILICIO; o II) RETICULAR EN PRESENCIA DE UN CATALIZADOR DE PEROXIDO UN POLISILOXANO SUSTITUIDO CON 3,3,3-TRIFLUOROPROPILO
