Abstract

Método para tratar un catalizador de tamiz molecular que comprende: poner en contacto una alimentacion que comprende oxigenados con un volumen dereaccion total de un catalizador de tamiz molecular bajo condiciones efectivas para producir una corriente que comprenda olefinas livianas, que se caracterizaporque dicho volumen de reaccion total incluye depositos carbonáceos convenientes que otorgan a dicho catalizador más selectividad para producirolefinas livianas que en la ausencia dedichos depositos carbonáceos convenientes; y al acumular los depositos carbonáceos no convenientes en formaefectiva para interferir con la actividad del catalizador, dichos depositos carbonáceos convenientes se mantienen sobre dicho catalizador de tamizmolecular mediante un proceso que comprende: separar dicho volumen de reaccion total del catalizador de tamiz molecular en una porcion y un resto; tratardicha porcion con un medio de regeneracion bajo condiciones efectivas pararemover dichos depositos carbonáceos no convenientes, formando una porcionregenerada que comprenda desde aproximadamente 0% en peso a aproximadamente una cantidad regenerada de depositos carbonáceos; y mezclar dicha porcionregenerada con dichoresto, donde dicha cantidad regenerada de depositos carbonáceos comprende una cantidad suficiente, sobre dicha mezcla paraproducir un volumen de reaccion total que comprenda dichos depositos carbonáceos convenientes; y método paraconvertir selectivamente oxigenadosen olefinas livianas, convenientemente etileno y propileno, donde se mantienen depositos carbonáceos convenientes sobre un volumen de reaccion total delcatalizador mediante la regeneracion de solo una porcion de dicho volumen de reaccion total del catalizador y mezclando la porcion regenerada con el
