Abstract
Den foreliggende oppfinnelsen angår en dokosaheksaensyreester med en alkohol valgt blant gruppe-B-vitaminene eller provitaminene, og som fordelaktig omfatter: nikotinylalkohol med den følgende formel (I), pantenol med den følgende formel (II) og inositol med den følgende formel (III), eller med isosorbid med den følgende formel (IV) eller isosorbidmononitrat med den følgende formel (V). Den angår også en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av samme, en farmasøytisk sammensetning som omfatter samme og bruken av samme ved behandling eller forebygging av hjerte-karsykdommer, da spesielt aurikulær fibrillering.
