Abstract
Ultrarensing av forbrenningsgass til nær null konsentrasjon av gjenværende forurensninger fulgt av innfangning av CO2. Den høye effektivitet i fjerning av forurensninger oppnås ved direktekontaktkjøling og skrubbing av gassen med kaldt vann. Temperaturen av forbrenningsgassen blir redusert til 0-20 ºC for å oppnå maksimal kondensasjon og gassrensingseffekt. CO2 blir fanget fra den kjølte og rene røykgassen i en CO2 absorber (134) ved bruk av en ammoniert løsning eller oppslemming i NH3-CO2-H2O systemet. Absorberen opererer ved 0-20 ºC. Regenerering blir oppnådd ved å heve trykket og temperaturen av den CO2-rike løsning fra absorberen. CO2 damptrykket er høyt og en CO2 strøm under trykk og med lav konsentrasjon av NH3 og vanndamp blir dannet. Strømmen med CO2 under høyt trykk blir kjølt og vasket for å gjenvinne ammoniakk og fuktighet fra gassen.
