The object of the invention is to obtain a clock, whereby, based on the same basic concept on the part of the manufacturer and / or on the side of the user, more variation in the appearance of the clock can be applied.

According to the invention this can be obtained in a simple and efficient manner with a clock associated with a plate consisting of transparent material, the plate of transparent material having a passe-partout provided with at least one recess and a plate facing away from the plate of transparent material. The back plate located on the side of the passe-partout is included in a frame, wherein at least the back plate is releasably secured in the frame by means of fastening members.

When the construction according to the invention is used, an image, photo or the like visible via the recess in the passe-partout can be combined with the clock in a simple manner between the back plate and the passe-partout. On the manufacturer's side, this gives the possibility, based on the same list with parts included therein, to insert various images or the like between the back plate and the passe-partout, while on the other hand, by the fact that at least the back plate is easily detachable, the user has the ability to swap the images arranged between the passe-partout and the back plate as needed for another image or the like.
