Abstract
La presente divulgación se dirige a un método para vascularizar un islote pancreático que comprende cultivar el islote pancreático o células ß con una célula endotelial que comprende un ácido nucleico exógeno que codifica un factor de transcripción ETV2 bajo condiciones en donde la célula endotelial expresa el factor de transcripción ETV2. La presente divulgación se dirige adicionalmente a un método para hacer un organoide de células ß vascularizado que comprende cultivar el islote pancreático o células ß con una célula endotelial que comprende un ácido nucleico exógeno que codifica un factor de transcripción ETV2 bajo condiciones en donde la célula endotelial expresa el factor de transcripción ETV2. También se divulgan islotes vascularizados y organoides de células ß vascularizados producidos mediante los métodos de la presente divulgación, así como métodos para usar los mismos.
