Abstract
De acuerdo con algunas modalidades, aquí se proporciona un método para producir una cólula madre neural inducida (CMNi), cuyo método puede incluir una o más etapas de: proporcionar una cólula somática; introducir en (por ejemplo, mediante transfección o transacción) dicha cólula somática con un ácido nucleico que codifica Sox2, con el que dicha cólula expresa Sox2; y despuós transdiferenciar dicha cólula somática (por ejemplo al cultivar la cólula en un medio progenitor neural), para producir así dicha cólula madre neural; en algunas modalidades, la transdiferenciación se lleva a cabo durante un tiempo de 1 a 10 días, de 1 a 5 días, de 1 a 3 días o de 12 a 24 o 48 horas.
