Abstract
La presente invención provee un nuevo compuesto de benzodiazepina que bloquea la corriente IKur o el canal Kv1.5 en forma potente y más selectiva que otros canales de K+ el compuesto de benzodiazepina de la invención está representado por la Fórmula general (1) (ver fórmulas(1)) en donde R1, R2, R3 y R4 son cada uno independientemente hidrógeno o alquilo inferior; R2 y R3 pueden estar unidos para formar alquileno inferior; A1 es alquileno inferior opcionalmente sustituido con uno o más hidroxi; y R5 es un grupo representado por: (ver fórmula) en donde R6 y R7 son cada uno independientemente hidrógeno o un grupo orgánico; XA y XB son cada uno independientemente un enlace, alquileno inferior, etc.
