Integrity, and practical advice
I 'd reached out to Ranjit for advice regarding transferring funds from redemption of mutual funds in India to the UK. Ranjit took the time to understand my situation and concerns, after which he explained the factors I would need to consider and actions to undertake.
What most impressed me was his integrity - after establishing that my case was relatively straightforward, Ranjit gave me practical advice on next steps, and said that I would not need his services as the issue could be handled easily by myself.
The advice provided during the discovery call was clear and practical, including advice on potential (non-affiliated to Ranjit, so no commercial incentive for him) UK-based accountants that I might wish to connect with to dot i's and cross t's on my matter.
Ranjit also offered to advise on any clarifications that might crop up as I undertook the process; I'm sure these were not empty words.
Our interaction left me impressed by Ranjit's integrity, responsiveness and the clear practical next steps provided. It would have been easy for him to pull the wool over my eyes and sell me a service that I didn't need - the fact that he didn't, and clearly explained what I'd need to do on my own instead, speaks volumes to his character. No hesitation in recommending Ranjit for UK/India financial advice.
