Lady who greeted us was lovely

Lady who greeted us was lovely! Offered a drink and piece of cake, which was delicious!. However, we arrived at 13:25 and was not seen until 14:35/14:40 pm and completed our session by 14:53. We were rushed and chap we saw said that it was important that everyone was seen and his attention was focused on that? No real regard for the fact we had been waiting over an hour! Being only 2 people were assessing people's items!? Rushed the viewing of all our items and we were not happy with the overall offer which we declined. Unfortunately, there seems to be limited knowledge of items and is purely about scrap value, their flyer indicates a good knowledge, far from our experience. We were told they were unable to determine the carat of some of the jewellery, so be warned! One watch he said was not worth anything and surprisingly sold today for £77?. Hardly nothing? His interest was constantly diverted to people arriving! I would advise caution when attending these events. If it's a quick sell you want, then ok, if you want realistic valuations, I would suggest seeking alternative venues or establishments, as I had done prior to the event, so had a reasonable idea of the scrap value and that was just the gold jewellery!

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear that your visit felt rushed and didn’t meet your expectations on the day.

We understand how important it is for customers to feel they’ve had enough time and attention when having items assessed, and your comments around the pace of the appointment and valuation process are appreciated. Our team aim to manage events as efficiently as possible while still giving each customer a fair assessment, but we recognise that this may not always feel balanced during busy periods.

We also appreciate your comments regarding item valuations and will ensure these are passed on to the team for review.
