I am still waiting for Vinted to sort out their verification system. Vinted currently are holding on to the money I earned from selling on their site. Absolute rubbish service.

Very happy with my experience so far
Very happy with my experience so far. Had an item damaged recently by courier and compensation was paid immediately. Very impressed, lots of excellent advice available for sellers/buyers.

Have bought and sold and always been happy until lately!! Any problems you have, ie smashed items delivered, they are no support, say they havent received photos etc..
Sellers are good, but Vinted support is rubbish!!
Very disappointing customer service.
Very disappointing customer service.
My experience with Vinted has been extremely frustrating. Despite having a good account history, positive reviews and genuine items to sell, my account keeps getting restricted or banned whenever I try to upload new listings.
The worst part is the customer support. You cannot seem to speak to a real person who can actually investigate or resolve your problem. Instead, you receive automated AI responses that go around in circles without addressing your concerns.
I've wasted so much time trying to explain the situation and provide evidence, but nobody takes responsibility or offers a proper explanation.
A platform should value genuine sellers and treat loyal members fairly. Unfortunately, my experience has been the complete opposite.
I would strongly encourage Vinted to improve its customer service and provide proper human support when account restrictions are disputed.
Very disappointing experience. I honestly cannot recommend it based on my experience
I wouldn’t even rate this app 1 star
I wouldn’t even rate this app 1 star. What a vile, nasty app this is. My item was damaged by Evri on transit. I am a seller. Vinted came to a conclusion that I did not pack my item correctly when I clearly put the item in a big box and wrapped it with “fragile” tape. Evri clearly have idiots working for them and they broke the item. Vinted refused to accept that and did not give me a refund. I messaged them many times and somebody named “Abir” closed the conversation without responding to my many messages. What kind of disgusting people work for Vinted. Horrible. Never ever sell anything on Vinted. They’re useless.
Wouldn’t recommend as if a product…
Wouldn’t recommend as if a product arrives damaged due to being inadequately packed you as a buyer are responsible for return postage costs even if you’ve provided all proof. Disappointing experience.
Hmm what to sell
So easy just put up pictures of what you are selling and leve it up on your selling profile and someone is bound to buy it. And when you do sell something you just send it off but dont forget to get the q r code through your email address and then send it off to were it has got to go and you will get updates as where the parcel is it a good idea
Efficient
Bought some items and also sold some recently. It’s easy to communicate with buyers and sellers. Money is always very promptly paid into account as soon as buyer accept the item. All seamless.

Advertised a stone island top stating I don’t know it is real or not so they deleted my post, I appealed and they over turned it and let me resell the item. Week later then deleted my same post again and when I appealed they rejected it!

Extremely Disappointing Experience with Vinted
Absolutely appalling experience with Vinted. My account has been permanently banned, and three of my listings have been deleted due to alleged fraudulent activity and counterfeit items, without Vinted clearly explaining which items supposedly breached their rules.
I find it unacceptable that a platform can make such a serious decision without providing clear evidence or a proper explanation.
As a seller, you put time and effort into taking photographs, preparing listings and building your account, only to have everything taken away with little explanation.
The worst part is the lack of transparency and the feeling that genuine sellers are not being treated fairly. If Vinted has concerns about a listing, sellers should be given clear reasons and a fair opportunity to defend themselves.
I am extremely disappointed with how this has been handled. Customer support and transparency need serious improvement.
I would think twice before recommending Vinted to anyone looking to sell their belongings. Very poor experience.
Title: Vinted's verification system is excluding legitimate customers – a very disappointing first experience
I have been trying to open an account with Vinted, but have been unable to get past its telephone verification process.
Vinted requires both email and telephone verification. I have tried three different mobile numbers:
Manx Telecom (Isle of Man)
Sure (Isle of Man)
My North American mobile number.
None of them worked.
When I contacted customer service, I was told:
"You won't be able to add your current phone number to your account due to concerns about your mobile network provider's trustworthiness on our platform."
I find this response extremely concerning. What exactly does Vinted mean by questioning the trustworthiness of established telecommunications providers? Is this a genuine concern about these networks, or is it a problem with Vinted's own verification system?
I regularly purchase from UK companies and marketplaces, including Amazon, eBay and Etsy, without ever encountering this problem.
Customer service was unable to resolve the issue and repeatedly advised me to obtain a new telephone number from another mobile network provider.
Seriously? Am I expected to take out an entirely new mobile contract simply to purchase second-hand clothing?
I find this disproportionate, unreasonable and quite frankly ridiculous.
I am particularly disappointed because I wholeheartedly support the principle behind Vinted. We live in a world already overwhelmed by mass-produced merchandise, and I believe buying and selling pre-owned clothing is a positive step towards reducing waste and encouraging recycling.
However, a verification system should protect a marketplace from fraud, not exclude legitimate customers because of their choice of telecommunications provider or geographical location.
Having tried three different numbers across different networks and countries, I would suggest that Vinted investigate whether this is a technical issue with its verification system rather than simply telling customers to change their mobile provider.
I would particularly like this complaint escalated to Vinted's management and marketing teams. It is not a good introduction to a company that should be encouraging more people to participate in the second-hand marketplace.
I wanted to become a customer. Instead, I have been made to feel that I am the problem, when Vinted cannot even provide a workable registration process.
I hope someone in management takes notice and looks into this properly.
Fine , but not always
Fine and smooth sales but some things like finding the “size “ for Lego Duplo isn’t in the app . I was going around and around to find a solution . Got in touch with Vinted but all I got was a generated reply. Some customers seem not read correctly and get to buy something . But then it’s better to clarify before buying
I thought the process would be…
I thought the process would be complicated but if I can follow it, anyone can. Easy to use and the communication throughout the sales is first class.
Easy to use
Very good design, smooth process as a seller. Good to clear off my unused items!

Terrible customer service and a completely unfair system for buyers!
Vinted’s customer service is absolutely rubbish.
If a seller sends you an item that is faulty, damaged or inaccurately described in their listing, you would expect Vinted to protect the buyer. Instead, the customer is expected to pay the return postage, despite the seller being responsible for the problem in the first place.
In my case, the faulty item has now been returned and the seller has accepted it back. However, I have no option to leave negative feedback about the seller or warn other buyers about my experience.
So apparently, you can only leave feedback if you’re happy with your purchase and keep the item! If something goes wrong, the buyer loses the opportunity to warn others.
What sort of review system is that? It completely defeats the purpose of buyer feedback and allows sellers to avoid negative reviews even when they have supplied goods that do not match their descriptions.
Vinted needs to seriously rethink its policies. Buyers should not have to pay out of their own pockets to return faulty or misdescribed goods, and sellers should not be protected from honest negative feedback simply because an item has been returned.
This system is unfair, frustrating and offers very little protection to buyers. Vinted needs to put buyers first, improve its customer service and bring its policies in line with UK consumer rights.
Very disappointing experience. I would think twice before buying from Vinted again.
