Uber help is a joke
I made a mistake with delivery address and tried to change couldn’t and was forced to cancel order. The food hadn’t been prepared yet and I was charged 95% of the full order as a fee. When I made a complaint about the high cancellation fee I was told I would only be charged half what I originally thought. I have proof of the conversation with uber but the next day they told me I would be charged the original full cancellation fee. This is ridiculous I have proof of them telling me one thing and then the next day another. Extremely unprofessional from a big operation they should be able to keep customers happy and not lie about the charges.
A joke
They allow one driver to take on multiple orders which are prepared at different times. My order was ready for 20 minutes before the driver ever left the restaurant. The result was stone cold, inedible food. They didn’t even try to make it right. Black listed.
Totally wrong order ordered shopping…
Totally wrong order ordered shopping from Asda but got got Gregg's instead but expecting Asda shopping and still took the money could do better unprofessional.
We’ve had multiple issues with Uber…
We’ve had multiple issues with Uber Eats, especially with paid Priority Delivery. It’s presented as a way to have your order delivered directly to you, yet multiple drivers have told us we were not their first delivery when we asked why our food was taking so long. What exactly are we paying extra for?
Then came our latest pizza order. The driver arrived at our house and sat outside for about five minutes. We finally messaged to ask whether everything was okay. He told us Uber had routed him directly to our house without him picking up our pizza, and he was talking to technical support.
After roughly another ten minutes of communication, he said support would contact us and that he would cancel the order. Instead, the order was marked delivered. We received absolutely nothing.
We contacted support, who initially refused a refund because the order showed as delivered. We had to specifically ask them to read our messages with the driver. After reviewing those messages, they refunded the food and issued a credit for the tip, but left the service charge unrefunded. Apparently, we’re still expected to pay a service fee for an order that never arrived.
We followed up asking for the remaining refund and a credit for the experience. After leaving us waiting approximately four or five days, support responded that we weren’t eligible because we hadn’t contacted them within 48 hours.
We had already contacted them, they had already reviewed the evidence, and they had already issued a partial refund. Their own support history documents this.
Now we’re stuck repeating the same explanation instead of getting the remaining charge refunded. Mistakes happen. But failing to deliver the food, marking it delivered, keeping part of our money, and then denying our follow-up based on a deadline we didn’t miss is completely unacceptable.
Ants got inside my food - Uber Eats refused to refund it
My Uber Eats driver left two pizzas directly on the ground outside my residence without notifying me that the order had been delivered.
I found the order approximately five minutes later. The boxes were covered in ants, and ants had already gotten inside the boxes and onto the food. I immediately recorded a video documenting the condition of the order. Both pizzas had to be thrown away, including my child’s dinner.
I contacted Uber Eats immediately. Instead of replacing the food or issuing a refund so I could reorder dinner, Support repeatedly told me to wait 6-12 hours.
Uber ultimately refused my refund, stating: “It was determined that no significant damage or restaurant error impacted the quality of the food. Therefore this order can’t be refunded.”
I never blamed the restaurant. The restaurant was not at fault. This was entirely a delivery issue: Uber’s driver left the pizza boxes on the ground without notification, ants got inside the boxes and onto the food, and the order became inedible.
I have video evidence showing exactly what I found.
Apparently, according to Uber Eats, ants inside a food order do not constitute “significant damage” to its quality.
Completely unacceptable delivery and an even more unacceptable response from Uber Eats Support.
Delivery person took order but canceled…
Delivery person took order but canceled after 40 min. Then the next delivery person took the delivery. But the food arrived way to late and cold because of this. Talking in the help chat they could only see the 2nd delivery and so they said it arrived on time. They had to admit to couldn't see the data of tbe first delivery person and then just stopped the chat. Horrible service
I ordered a crispy chicken salad and…
I ordered a crispy chicken salad and got grilled. I asked for extra dressing and didn’t get it. Uber’s solution was to give me a $2 credit on a $20 salad and I even uploaded a picture. I will never order Uber Eats again. I could NOT talk to a live person or chat anyone. I’m SOL.
Their support is useless
Their support is useless, unresponsive, and doesn't want to solve any problems! It's crazy!
I ordered from family pizza in…
I ordered from family pizza in Saskatoon. I was supposed to get free cheese bread in order over $40. I ordered 3 medium pizza ($42) 2L pop ($4.99). I never received my free cheese bread and when I looked at the invoice it wasn’t even on it but it was on the order before I clicked checkout. Uber screwed me over and I can’t talk to a live person all AI. FU UBER EATS

They don't help the costumers, charge a lot, take long time to be delivered and it's impossible to contact a real person by the chat
This company is a disgrace
This company is a disgrace, no empathy for customers only interested in money. If you aren't a customer avoid at all costs. They will offer you no support and treat you like dirt , if you manage to get a refund it's as if they've done you a favour. No apologies no empathy , terrible company full of terrible customer service agents
It’s totally rubbish
It’s totally rubbish. When the shop doesn’t turn up and phone is unresponsive, there’s nothing you can do to check what went wrong or to get a refund.
Customer Service is non existent on Uber Eats. It’s not even close to its competitors
Stay away from it.
IMxed ratings for Uber Eats
I had an order from Uber Ears, Huckleberry restaurant. The food was hot, well packaged and delicious. The problem that I had and what caused the low rating was that several items were missing. I ordered a cup of decaf coffee and a made from scratch biscuit and didn't receive either. I also ordered extra fried onions on my skillet dish but didn't get these either. Otherwise the food was very good and the order was so big I could only eat half of it.
Bad Drivers & Nothing new
I mean, where do I even begin? First of all, they hire people who can barely speak English. When I used to take Ubers, I always had the same thing every single time. guy pulls up not to my location and pin pointed on the map. Then he randomly cancels the ride or tries to call me, asking where I am. Like, bruh, for real?
Every time, they use their phone on speaker and shout to the people they talk to on their phone. Rarely i had a guy who would be welcoming and friendly. Well, there is 2 kind i have noticed that only appear to be that type.
Ah, even better today, on 05/09/2026, my birthday lol, I was supposed to get a package from a website called Myprotein worth up to 100 pounds. It was supposed to arrive at 19:45, and when the time came around 19:05, I got a message from Uber saying, "Sorry, but your delivery was cancelled. Your courier couldn't finish the delivery. Please contact your retailer for further assistance." i mean let's be real me and my partner we knew they woulden't deliver it today it was too real to be true. If it was a different company that hires people who can't drive & can't deliver & lack customer service skills & barely can make a word in English but speak super loudly in their language.
Driving, heh, where do I even get with this? They drive so slowly and are surprised when people honk at them. Not so long time ago, I had to order an Uber to get me dropped off from my work to my house; MF was driving 19 - 20 in a 35 zone. And he proceeded to argue with some random-ass guy who was honking at him because he was going slow. I kid you not, I saw an old granny drive faster than these Uber guys.
Honestly? End of the day, I'm truly grateful to have listened to my friends and family to get my own driving license, as I don't have to deal with their bullshit. Now every time I pass these Uber drivers on the road, I just laugh at them and purposely drive slowly in front of their ass, as it's funny lol and seeing how they get mad so they can feel how it feels.
At the end of the day, I'm not firing shots at UBER the company; I'm throwing facts about their colleagues & workers.

Absolutely terrible experience. This was my last Uber Eats order.
The driver asked for my PIN and told us we needed to come downstairs **before the order was even marked as delivered in the app**. They refused to bring the order upstairs and came down with it instead.
Then I discovered that **the order had been shopped incorrectly**.
I tried to get help, and instead of being able to speak with an actual person, I was stuck dealing with AI. I couldn't get meaningful customer support, and I couldn't even remove the tip after an unacceptable delivery experience.
And here's the best part: after I canceled my account, Uber offered me a **credit to that closed account** instead of simply refunding me. So basically, the solution to a customer who is unhappy enough to leave is to give them credit that requires them to come back and do business with Uber Eats.
No.
You can keep the money. You lost a loyal customer.I'm done with Uber Eats and will never use the service again.
Terrible service
Terrible service. App sent delivery to previous order location 600km away!! Second order took 2 hours to deliver.
A Complete Scam: Penalizing Loyal Customers with Hidden Price Hikes!
I have been using Uber Eats for over 4 years and subscribed to Uber One. Instead of being rewarded for my loyalty, I am being penalized. The moment I loaded my Uber Wallet with cash to make ordering easier, the app's algorithm sneakily inflated meal prices by 6+ pounds per item! On top of that, standard restaurant discounts completely vanished from my account, while my non-subscribed friends still get them and pay less for the exact same food.
Charging your most loyal, pre-paying customers higher prices is not just bad business; it's practically theft. I will be finding a way to empty my wallet balance and deleting this app forever. Do yourselves a favor: order directly from the restaurants and avoid this manipulative pricing algorithm.
