I would give 0 stars if I could. Ordered 2 consoles for them both to be faulty, game freezes, does not save progress and buttons do not work. Emailed constantly for 4 months and no reply from their customer service. Do not buy

Counterfeit SD Cards, Misleading Shipping. Now company disappeared. They claim to be based in the UK, but the item actually shipped from China and took a month to arrive. More importantly, the retro console comes with a counterfeit MicroSD card. When trying to format the drive, it crashed my computer and showed a maximum capacity of only 89GB. Theyre website is now blank for the retro snap console. So no chance of a refund.

I bought an item in September 2025, the retrosnap handheld game device, stopped working by February. Under consumer law, I should’ve been issued a replacement OR a full refund.
They apparently attempted to send me a new one..
MONTHS… it’s been MONTHS!
Countless of emails, nearly every week, and I get extremely limited responses.
I paid £70+ for the console, and I have DEMANDED my money back and also requested more information about the company, to genuinely take legal action.
I might sound dramatic, but the sheer lack of care, communication and support is the reason why I want to take this further.
It is absolutely disgusting behaviour and appalling. The WORST business I have encountered!

Doesn’t save. Scam. Lost all pokemon progress due to corruption

I purchased the Gameboy back in December. To be honest I was very nervous that it wouldn’t arrive in time for Christmas and turns out unfortunately it didn’t. It literally took just over 1 month to arrive however it arrived in perfect condition - my husband is obsessed with it! I highly recommend purchasing as long as you have some patience lol. You definitely won’t regret it!

Game console is fine. Bought extra storage just incase it was needed. The extra storage does not work. Emailed support and was told the console had enough storage. I wrote another email stating it didnt matter if the console had enough storage I paid for extra and they don't work. Never got a response back to fix the problem..

The product that arrived was nothing like what was advertised the print function didn’t work and the video feature didn’t work either. After multiple back-and-forth emails trying to get a refund, they blocked me completely. I’ve now had to raise a dispute through my bank, which is still ongoing.

Do not buy from this company. The 5-star reviews are misleading and fake. This has been one of the worst purchases I’ve ever made – a complete scam

Straight up dropshipping, you cam buy the same exact camera with the same exact sd with 20 bucks on temu

A company of amateurs. Firstly, the console took 5 weeks to arrive despite multiple emails along the way suggesting that it had shipped or was being held in customs. All complete lies. When it did arrive, it didn't work, and I requested a refund. After a long wait, I received a postal address in Spain, and sent the console recorded delivery. The company have since not been present at the time of delivery and have not made any attempts to arrange redelivery. I'm now £75 out of pocket. Do not do business with this company.

I got my Retro Snap fast and easy. Ready for this past Christmas. Very happy with the console. There were some things I was hoping to have when I finally played it. First, I was kinda disappointed that there is no indicator for when the power was gonna shut down. Like when the GameBoy SP let's you know. So, I lost some progress on a few games. Second, one of my favorite games is "Quake 2" but, was super glitchy. And, maybe I need to figure out how to change the inverted/default controls but, couldn't. Third, it didn't have my all time favorite arcade game on it which is "Tapper". A genuine classic. I'm also, a Pokemon Fan. And, to trade on this system by yourself takes a number of steps and a computer. I'm missing just having a link cable. Overall, this is a great handheld. I love it! Great job guys!

I bought my retro snap back in November of 2025. It does have a ton of games from the Game Boy Color to the N64, just as an example. It's great having all these games in one place but the battery life is abysmal. You get maybe 30 minutes on a full charge. Some of the games don't even work. I tried playing Pokemon Stadium and a few other N64 games and they're either really glitchy or don't work at all. There's no way to save any of the games and there's no way to change your "recent" files or "last played" files. I got it because I thought it would be dope to have while I'm on my lunch break or just relaxing. You get tired of replaying every game from the beginning and having it crash on other games. Great concept terrible device.

This was shipped with a fake label. I had to pay the shipping when I picked it up from the post office. I've tried contacting the company for reimbursement but they don't respond. System itself is difficult to use.

I ordered 3 devices on a deal on December 1st 2025. One was for a birthday gift in a couple of weeks and the other two for my kids Christmas gifts. The delivery was meant to be quick so I had plenty of time, and yet I did not receive a single product until January.
Mid-January I received 1 device.
I have been chasing and got a reply to check with neighbours and safe places, useless. Of course I had already done that.
I chased again and requested a refund for the two outstanding devices and I keep getting bounce backs, the email address doesn't work. So how am I supposed to claim back the £40 they've just ripped off me now? HORRENDOUS customer service and company has ripped me off. Not to mention the failing to deliver anything in any reasonable time and ruining my kids Christmas gifts. Don't buy from them.

Went to the website for a retro camera thingy, except to see that the product links do not go anywhere, except a 404 not found. I viewed all the items, only to see Example Product Titles I cannot click on. Very disappointing.

I purchased 5 as Christmas presents because they appeared so amazing. When it first arrived I gave it a sneaky try and instantly loved it. However, they are extremely unreliable and I now have 3 that don't work at all. So 2 of those 3 were great for the first 2 weeks then they just stopped charging and won't do anything. And the 3rd which I purchased as a spare/for myself never worked at all. So unbelievably disappointed.

I did send an enquiry to the company for which I received an initial response but all further attempts to communicate returned did not get through and returned a mail error which adds to the frustration and disappointment.

DONT BUY.

Ordered the RetroSnap Play (their gameboy-esk dupe) and all the accessories. It arrives, my husband began playing happily and then the issues began. It would turn itself off mid-play without warning. Not because it had a low battery, just randomly. When it would do this all his gaming progress would be wiped. I contacted Retrosnap who told me to save the game in another way to prevent it being wiped, and did not address the rebooting issue at all. We saved in this way, but still have the same problem, all games are still wiped when it reboots randomly. They are now refusing to answer my emails, which outlook is suddenly now saying can't be delivered but in the way that usually happens when you are blocked. The email address is correct and I have even sent new messages on their website. I have asked for a refund as its not fit for purpose. I will escalate to my credit card company to force a refund shortly if I don't get a response and refund from them soon.

Update: Increased to 2 out of 5 stars as the item may not be fit for purpose, but they did just issue a refund. Really glad to finally draw a line under this all. Thanks to Lee who sorted it for me.

Product arrived late and does not work. It turns on and shuts right off. When I go to the site to try to contact support, it shows page not found. This so called company is a big scam.

ABSOLUTE SCAM. Do not buy from this company, trust me. I ordered on 11/18/25. Never got an order number. Then a few weeks later all I got was a “delayed shipment” notice. Still, no order number. Then several more weeks go by and it is now January. I contacted them and they said it was delivered on 12/12/25. Then they sent me the tracking number when I asked for proof because I never received it. When I questioned them about their business and why I never got an order number or the tracking number in advance, they ghosted me. I sent several more emails asking for a refund or another order be sent and received a response from the server saying their email address was no longer valid. I’m waiting for my credit card company to close the dispute but I’m not worried that I won’t get my refund because this is definitely a scam. I bet they paid for all those positive reviews. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM:

I bought 2 retrosnap cameras online WITH SD cards. the cameras came without the SD cards. COntacted them to inform them but no response until i escalated via Paypal. And even then, they asked me for a picture of the product or damage. How the hell am I supposed to show non-existing SD cards??

My order took over a month to arrive, the quality is okay but you can definitely find better elsewhere. Alongside this, my card details were stolen leaked online. I know it was from here as I didn’t order from elsewhere.
Somebody has now stolen my card details and is using it to buy things. Do not buy from this company!!!
