We purchased a kitchen faucet and…

We purchased a kitchen faucet and instillation. We returned the faucet and bought another one. The customer service rep said the installation would transfer over to new purchase. I challenged her on this and she assured me it would. I call instillation. Dept at Lowe’s and sure enough it won’t transfer. We are done with Lowe’s at this point, order what we need from Home Depot and head back to Lowe’s. We go to get a refund on the second faucet purchased but she couldn’t figure out how to refund the instillation. 17 minutes later she was able to process it but we couldn’t get any kind of receipt, she said it wouldn’t let her print it!

FOUR WEEKS without repair or replacent

I wish I'd visited TrustPilot before purchasing my Samsung smart fridge from Lowe's. I bought it about a year and a half ago (after my 19-year-old Kenmore expired) WITH an additional 3-year extended warranty from Assurant. My fridge stopped working on July 22, 2026. More than 1 month ago now. The Assurant website claims, "We’ll provide you with the fastest repair or replace option to help keep life running smoothly." From my experience, THAT is a lie. I made several attempts to get my fridge serviced. The first contact I made on July 22nd somehow did not make it into their system. I had to contact them again (and at every turn, except when email scheduled appointments were made for me and when gift credits were offered for me to purchase a dorm fridge because of the inconvenience). My FIRST and ONLY service appointment so far took place on August 7, 2026. More than TWO WEEKS after letting them know my fridge was not working. The technician told me that they would make a decision to repair or replace the fridge, but he thought that given the extent of the problem, they would likely replace it. I received a copy of the technician's report the same day. I received nothing from Lowe's or Assurant, so I called them on the following Monday. They said they never received the report and told me to wait a day or two for them to receive it so that they could make a decision. I waited, but got no email and no phone call. So I called again and was run through an automated system that went nowhere and instructed me to chat with them online. That was fruitless, so I called back and kept pushing buttons until I finally got a LIVE agent. I informed them that I was recording the call for my records. They told me they never received the report from the technician and "escalated" the call. The next person was also informed that I was recording the call for my records. Somehow, between the first agent and the next, I was told that the report had just been received and that I would likely get a store credit to purchase a replacement fridge. I was told that the credit would be the total of what I spent and to look for a call or an email in the 48 hours. Nothing came, so I called again. This time, I informed them that I was recording and was told that they had decided to repair the fridge and we were waiting for parts, and once the parts were received, a technician would be scheduled to do the repair. They said I would be informed when the parts arrived and contacted to schedule the repair. It is now August 23, 2026. Not a day later, but one MONTH plus one day since I filed my claim and more than 2 WEEKS since the technician assessed the fridge. All calls during that window between the assessment and now have been recorded. Since the last call, there has been no email, no call, and no estimate of when parts will arrive or when this repair will take place. We have been surviving without a working fridge for over FOUR WEEKS. This has been the WORST customer service experience of my life. No exaggeration. The only reason I am still hanging on is because I believe that the right thing for them to do is repair or replace this fridge that still has a year and a half left on the warranty. But I am so disgusted by this experience that I will never again buy any major appliance from Lowe's, and I will never again purchase any warranty coverage from Assurant. The entire experience has been absolutely unacceptable, and now, seeing the TrustPilot score, I wish I'd come here prior to making my purchase.
Assurant Claim # 26001091660
Absolutely unacceptable.

I have no idea why Lowe’s in Helena…

I have no idea why Lowe’s in Helena Montana bothered to be open at 6:30 pm on 8/18. Near the west side 5 aisles were gated off as inventory was being brought in. A similar situation was in the center/North side of the store. I could not get access to any of the items I came for. I left the store and went home. This felt like a completely unsafe situation for anyone shopping that evening.

Never use Lowe's installation service! The worst!

I can only tell you that you should never buy windows or doors with Lowe's. I have an outstanding warranty request for both doors (outside paint chipping off after 3 months) and window (windows don't lock) issues and you only get the run around. Terrible company to work with. After 8 months now trying to get repairs done, I am convinced that they are on purposed try to wear you down so you just give up.

Lowe's online order returns

Lowe's online order returns - no such thing at Lowe's. You either have to mail it in or take it to a location. No online processing with curbside return. Have to drag it in and stand in line. Way behind the times!

I had the worst moving-related…

I had the worst moving-related experience with Lowe’s in North Bergen.

I ordered a large moving box and bubble wrap for approximately $18 and paid an additional $10 for next-day delivery, bringing the total to nearly $30. The box arrived the next morning, but the bubble wrap was missing.

I tried contacting customer service, but the AI assistant was completely unhelpful, and the phone lines were constantly busy. Eventually, I reached the North Bergen store, only to be told, “There’s nothing we can do because of company policy.”

Despite having already paid for delivery, I was forced to go to the store myself to pick up the missing item—while dealing with the stress of moving and a sick child at home.

Later that evening, I received a message saying they would issue a credit, but I still had to go to the store to receive it. This was an unacceptable and extremely frustrating experience.

Lowe’s should be treating customers with respect, especially when the mistake is on their end. After this experience, I will never shop at or recommend the Lowe’s North Bergen store again.

The store in my town is so loud

The store in my town is so loud, you can’t think. It’s hard enough to navigate their maze, to find the simplest item, without your bones being rattled from the noise. Between the obnoxious music (60’s anyone? Again?) and the squawking and beeping from the intercom, as the same fruitless message is played every 30 seconds (“customer service, please come to [fill in the blank].”
Face it, customer service isn’t coming, and you are only left with the relentless din. You’ve got to want something mighty bad to go into this store.

NEVER order an appliance from Lowes

On May 20th I ordered a trash compactor from Lowes based on a delivery date in June. Then the delivery date was pushed back multiple times. Around mid-July I called Lowes customer service and the representative said she would look into it and call me back. Never did. My most recent delivery notice said product would be delivered August 19th so I decided to wait. On August 18th Lowes sent me an email saying product would be arriving August 19th between 11:00 and 3:00 pm and someone should be home to receive if putting in the house. I arranged to be home and waited. Never came, but I did receive an email from Lowes later that day saying product was undeliverable and that a Lowes customer service person would contact me. They never did. I tried to contact them and had to go through automated help desk that could not recognize my order number nor march to my phone number (even though the notices they were sending me had both). I finally spoke to an agent who after about 30 minutes on the call informed me I could continue to wait for the product (“It’s the vendors fault”) but could not tell me how long I would have to wait - or I could cancel the order and they would refund my money. Most ridiculous experience of customer non-service across every aspect of this transaction. My advice: NEVER order an appliance through Lowes. As for me, I cancelled the order and will never shop at Lowes again (even though they did thank me for my patience and wished me a great day)!

Beware of LOWES Protection Plans

I purchased a protection plan from LOWES, which promised a partial refund if I did not make any claims during the plan period. However, I was not informed that I needed to submit a claim within 60 days after the plan ended to receive this refund. With the advancements in automation and AI, I expected that LOWES would automatically process any refunds due to customers. Instead, they place the responsibility on the consumer to navigate this requirement, which is not clearly communicated and can easily be overlooked. This lack of transparency and reliance on the consumer to fulfill the requirement is concerning. I believe that companies should make the refund process straightforward and user-friendly, rather than complicating it with hidden stipulations.

Lowes SUCKS THEY DON'T HONOR THEIR ONLINE PRICES IN STORE

I went to Lowes to purchase a gas can I saw on line for like $17.99 or close to that. When I went to the store the cashier every rude and said we don't honor our on lines prices, when I asked her why all she said was I don't know, it was a four dollar difference. I've been shopping with Lowes since I lived in Washington and have spent well over $250,000 dollars with Lowes over the years remodeling houses. Well after today I am cancelling my Lowes credit card and my account with Lowes and will now be going to The Home Depot cause they honor their online prices and I have never been treated like the way I was at Lowes by The Home Depot. So bye Lowes, you should have honored your online price.

Total disrespect of customer and customer time.

Lowe's Home Improvement @ 1721 Morris Ave, Union, NJ 07083 SHAME ON YOU! Total disrespect of customer and customer time. I placed an order online and Lowes sent me more of one item and none of the other. I went to location close to home, but they could not help me and told me to call the location that delivered the items which is in Union, NJ. I called. Have you been on hold with Lowe's Home Improvement from 4:52pm until 10:14pm? E-mail directs you to call them, LOL. Their response time for email is 14 days.

Delivery has major issues

Delivery has major issues.

Waited at home 2 afternoons for fridge/freezer delivery.

1st day waited 4 hours and truck broke down.

2nd time waited 4 hours tracking delivery on Lowe’s app. Delivery time change by 2 hours later. Unbeknownst to me and not shown on tracking - the information was in a different time zone.

Delivery knocked on garage door - not front door - then left. They took pics of.delivery knocking on garage door - not front door. No fridge again!

I tried to return missed calls several times from unknown number and got voice mail. Left messages and sent text that were not returned.

No fridge for weekend. Let’s see what happens next scheduled delivery appt.

Lowe’s is a scam company

If I could rate 0 I would. We bought a Whirlpool stove and refrigerator from Lowes. The bottom freezer keeps freezing up with ice and it will not open. We bought extended warranty. They said they’d send a technician out. They never showed up. No phone call no nothing. My husband called them. It’s a nightmare with every phone call..They said they have no technicians for our area and would replace refrigerator. Still no tech or fridge. This has been going on for 2 months. Today they said they can’t find us in system. He called back and all the sudden they found us. Supposed to be getting a GC by email within 24-48 hours for price of fridge. DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM LOWES IN FARMINGTON MO. They suck and the worst company to deal with. They lie consistently. So sick of businesses taking advantage of people. They’re crooked!

Lowe's Customer Service is non-existent

This review is not store specific. Lowe's in general is a corporate giant that focuses on greed and only greed. Their customer service is abominable.
After a rep from their inside sales group accidently ran my debit card twice on a large purchase, my bank threw up a fraud alert. The rep advised that I would not be able to pay using my debit card for 48-72 hours. Since this was a floor project and I was working on a timeline, I drove to my local store the next day and paid the order in full on a credit card.
It has been 9 days since the rep ran my debit card twice and Lowe's still has a merchant hold on my checking account! This order was paid in full and there is absolutely no reason for a merchant hold.
I have spent hours on the phone for the past three days being bounced from one department to another with zero resolution. My bank has informed me that Lowe's has this hold on my account until 8/25/26. 14 days after the rep ran my card twice!
Caleb Weber, a "manager" at inside sales is a liar. He assured me that the longest the hold would be on my account was 72 hours. When I called to speak to him, he refused to speak to me and advised that I call Customer Care. Coward.
Customer Care advised that I need to speak to Installation. Emma in Installation was great and told me she would try to help by contacting the store and then accounting. That was yesterday. I checked my account this afternoon and the hold is still in place. I called Installation today and Emma was not available. Instead, I had the pleasure of speaking to the arrogant Matt. Matt refused to provide his last name or employee id number. Just Matt. Matt advised that there is not a publicly facing phone number for either the accounting or the legal departments. Matt is a useless cactus.
We are on day 9 of Lowe's holding my money with no end in sight.
If you must shop at Lowe's DO NOT EVER USE YOUR DEBIT CARD. Lesson learned.
