Five missed delivery dates
Five missed delivery dates, no commitment, escalation refused
I ordered a corner sofa bed from home24 with paid assembly. The order confirmation gave delivery as 25–30 September.
Since then the date has moved to 5 October, then 13–19 October, then 16–22 October, then calendar week 43, and now calendar week 44. Each new date was presented as reliable, and each was missed. My account showed the order slipping by a day at a time with no explanation.
I have stayed polite and made clear that I want to keep the order. I asked for three things: the actual cause of the delay, a delivery date home24 is prepared to commit to, and escalation to a supervisor. All three were refused. I was told that home24 "will not issue a separate written commitment" and was asked for "continued patience".
The only goodwill gesture offered was a 5% voucher that applies only to a new order.
Delays happen, but confirming dates that home24 clearly cannot meet, and then refusing to commit to any date at all, makes it impossible to plan. I moved into a new apartment and have been without a sofa for weeks.
If you need furniture by a particular date, I would not rely on the delivery date home24 gives you at checkout. I will update this review when the sofa arrives.

Good Product
The products are good, but some of the details in the assembly instructions could be clearer and may need reviewing. Recently, I purchased a table and a bathroom storage cabinet, and my family is very satisfied with both of them. However, we also bought a sofa bed and a wardrobe, both of which were quite complicated to assemble due to missing part markings, making the setup a bit troublesome.
